His Secret (NaLu)

Prologue

No One's Pov, 

Natsu Dragneel was known through most of Tokyo as his father ran Dragon Inc. A famous company world wide and he was about to take over the company after college. Natsu Dragneel was also known for being a cold, bad boy. He was even harsh to his best friends; Gray Fullbuster, Gajeel Redfox, Jellal Fernandes, Laxus Dreyar, Juvia Lockser, Levy McGarden, Erza Scarlet and Mira Strauss. They was all friends since high school but even the friends didn't know why Natsu was so harsh to others. Natsu Dragneel only showed emotions and feelings toward one person.

Lucy Heartfilla. His girlfriend. No one knew about Lucy Heartfilla as she was locked away in a mansion unable to leave as she was sick with an invisible illness called Emotional Strain Complex. (Made Up Illness) Others know it as E.S.C. Lucy Heartfilla's mother Layla also had this illness and died when Lucy was 7 year's old. Not long before doctors found out Lucy also had the illness herself. Even before Lucy got fully ill, her and Natsu were close. They was always together as their fathers already planned them to marry. Unknown the two liked each other that way.

Natsu didn't want anyone else to know about Lucy. Scared that they would tell his stalker Lisanna Strauss about Lucy. Scared that Lisanna would show up at Lucy's door setting off her illness. Sadly him being popular and captain of the basketball team made him have a lot of fangirls. It didn't help that he was rich and about to take over a successful company. Natsu was the only one who could ever calm Lucy down before her illness took over, giving him a pass to leave the school if needed. The only person in Lucy's life other than Natsu was Lucy's personal maid Virgo.

Virgo was close friends with Lucy's mother Layla and vowed to watch over Lucy when she was born. Lucy knew sooner or later she had to go outside and risk her health. She wanted to. She always wanted to be able to go and watch one of Natsu's basketball games or just go to the beach and night but she was scared. She was scared of worrying and scaring Natsu to much. She was scared that her life would flash before her eyes and she would of been made to leave the person she loved, to leave her pink haired boyfriend alone in the world.

Natsu knew about her wish and was scared himself to let it happen. He then vowed to one day take her to a basketball game and ice cream. He vowed that one day she would be able to go outside with him but every time he went to take her out, his fear stopped him in his tracks. The fear of losing her, the fear of him setting off her illness.... The fear that everything would go wrong....
