Chapter 26

Natsu's Pov Still, 

After making the pancakes Lucy and Mavis were just laughing and smiling for the whole day. I couldn't help but smile to. I was worried on the reason Jude stopped Mavis from seeing Lucy but she was so happy. Even as she doesn't remember Mavis she was smiling so brightly. I soon heard the door go once again as I got up walking over to it. I opened it up as my eyes widen with shock. My father was standing there looking right at me. My father had spiky dark red hair and onyx  eyes that were staring at me.

He was wearing a black jumper with normal jeans. He was also smirking at me. "Jude phoned me" he spoke as I crossed my arms not letting him inside. "On his side?" I asked as my voice showed her slightly upset I was with the fact that my father would make Lucy stay with that thing he calls himself her father. My father only chuckled. "No I am not, even if I was I couldn't do anything the papers were all signed right" my father soon answered as I muttered a curse word under my breath and let him inside.

Once he was inside I closed the door as Lucy and Mavis were laughing once again. My father and I walked into the living room to see the two girls. "Mavis? You are back in Magnolia?" my father asked a little shocked as Mavis turned her head and smiled at him. "My cousin needed me, took me so many years to get a loophole in that stupid threat Jude placed" Mavis soon answered as my father nodded and moved to the other couch. "I am glad to see you are well Lucy" my father smiled at her.

I wouldn't lie, my father always put Lucy's health and safety first also. He saw her as a daughter just like my mother did. "Thank you Igneel" Lucy replied as I was a tad shocked she remembered his name but if she remembered when I first asked her out that would explain it. "Anyways I heard you and Natsu are getting married" Mavis smirked as Lucy who looked shocked as hell while her cheeks burst on fire. I sighed rubbing the back of my neck. Mavis giggled and hugged Lucy's arm. 

"I'm so going to help plan the biggest wedding ever for you guys" Mavis nearly shouted, pure excitement was in her voice. She sounded as if she was a kid on Christmas getting everyone she wanted. "Also, Igneel are you and Natsu going to host the normal Dragneel Christmas Party?" Mavis soon asked as I nearly forgot about that. My mother started some tradition on our family, she made sure we always hosted a huge Christmas party. "Natsu will be hosting it alone this year, for the first time also" my father answered.

I froze in shock. We missed out in the last two years as I thought we would never do it again. "Natsu better make sure you plan a better party than ya father" Mavis giggled as I smirked knowing she was giving me a challenge. "Now I will" I soon replied as Lucy laughed slightly to. When challenges about beating my father showed up I would always do them. 90% of the time I would lose. This time I wasn't. If it was a party I knew the perfect person to call for that. Mira. She was best with it.

It wouldn't be as big as I didn't want to push Lucy to much but I knew Mira would be able to pull off making the best party ever. Soon my father, Lucy and Mavis were talking about some things in the past as I moved out the room to call Mira. Who picked up right away. "Something happen?" Mira asked worried as I laughed. "No, I need to ask for your help with a party plan" I soon answered as I could feel Mira's smirk through the phone. "I'm on my way over" Mira soon ended the call.

Soon music came from the living room. I wasn't sure what song was on but it sounded very catchy. I started thinking as I looked through my contacts on my phone. I soon saw Zeref's old number. I knew I could ask Jellal for this favor but after knowing he was watching me and Lucy some weeks ago... My brain just wanted to see if he would answer me. I ended up moving to the back garden calling his number. I was ringing as I looked at the sky waiting. I knew it was unlikely he would answer.

Maybe even someone else owned this number now. Right before the ringing was about to end the phone was answered. "Yes brother?" I heard his voice. I froze in shock for at lest half a minuet. "You answered" I mumbled hearing my brother chuckle. "Yes, I did" he replied as I took a small breath. "I know you have connections to people and well most likely you work in some type of black market so I need some information" I soon used my other hand to rub the back of my neck.

My brother let out a 'hmmmm'. "I need to know why Jude Heartfilla banned Mavis from seeing Lucy" I soon explained as I could hear my brother sitting up in his chair. "May I ask why?" my brother then asked as I knew I had to to answer. I had no choice if I wanted his help. "Mavis is back and seeing Lucy again and Jude always said there was a reason Mavis couldn't see Lucy" I then answered/explained as I heard my brother go 'hmmmm' once again. I could tell he was thinking.

"I will look into it" he soon ended the call. I let out a small sigh as I went back inside to see my father letting Mira into the mansion. "Hello Mr Dragneel" Mira gave him her normal sweet smile. "Hello Mira, I am guessing my son is making you help with the Christmas party" my father smiled as Mira nodded. I walked over putting my phone in my pocket. "Well if anyone can top your parties it Mira" I soon spoke as Mira gave me a wink. My mind was on what my brother could find out.....
