Chapter 21

Lucy's Pov,  

It was cold, dark like I was floating ins some dark orange place. I was just floating there the pain in my chest getting worse by the second. W-what was happening? I was so confused. I-I was scared even. After a small while the pain died down a little was but was still there. I was just floating in this strange place. "Lucy" I heard Levy's and the others voices. What the? Was I hearing things? "Oh god please say she's ok" I then heard Mira who had sadness in her voice, she sounded like she was about to burst out crying.

I was so confused. "Where's that idiot Salamander?" I then heard an angry Gray and Gajeel. Natsu wasn't with them? "He is freaking out outside" Erza soon answered as I started to feel a little guilty. If only I wasn't some ticking time bomb. If only I could be a normal girl with a normal life. "Please Lucy come back to Juvia and the others" I heard Juvia whisper as it felt like someone grabbed my hand. I looked at my hand feeling the heat of another. What was happening to me?

I-I felt myself getting more cold....

Natsu... 

Im Sorry...

Meanwhile, Natsu's Pov, 

I couldn't see Lucy yet. I was trying to calm myself from the dark thoughts that just kept rushing into my head. I took a deep breath as the sun was started to set. We was here all day and Lucy was only just came out of ICU. I walked to her room to see the others trying to get back inside. "Let me in there" I glared at the nurse who was guarding the door. She look pale as she let me inside. Having the Dragneel name gave me some power. I saw Lucy laying in the hospital bed, a tube in her mouth helping her breath.

I walked over sitting in the chair next to her as I grabbed her hand. "Lucy, please don't leave me like this" I then whispered. I was scared of losing her. She had always been there for me. When my brother went missing, when my mother died and even when I was in emotional pain. Lucy was always there. She would always find a way to make me smile. "Im going to end up murdering your old man" I then mumbled my hand getting a little tighter on Lucy's. I couldn't lose her. No matter what happened. 

I ended up falling asleep in the chair that really hurt my back. When I woke the next morning Lucy was the same. I sighed looking at the ground. My mind hoping and praying she would come back to me. That I would be able to hold her in my arms once again. Soon I felt Lucy squeeze my hand. I looked at her shocked as she was waking up. "JAMES" I then shouted as he rushed inside. The others still outside looking through the open door worried. I was shocked they was still here.

Lucy had woken up struggling with the tube in her mouth as James took it out. Lucy was coughing her throat sounding dry. "Miss Heartfilla calm down" James spoke as Lucy looked scared out of her mind. "W-who are you?" she asked in a whisper looking at me and James as my eyes widen. W-what did she just say? James looked worried. "Do you know your name?" James soon asked as Lucy shook her head. Oh god. Please say this wasn't happening. Oh please say this wasn't. 

"Your name is Lucy Heartfilla this young man is your boyfriend Natsu Dragneel" James soon explained as Lucy just looked confused and more scared. I really wanted to punch something right now. "Natsu please leave while I do some tests" James soon looked at me as I nodded leaving the room. Soon as the door behind me closed I punched the wall as hard as I could making a dent. The others looked at me worried. "Natsu?" Jellal asked as I looked at them all. "She's lost her memories" I then explained.

They all looked very worried. "She didn't even know her own name" I nearly shouted punching the wall again this time turning the dent into a hole as Erza and Gray pulled me away from the wall and push me into a chair. "Calm down, it will take you to help with memories Natsu" Erza then crossed her arms as I ran my fingers through my hair taking deep breaths. James soon came out whispering to a nurse who went into Lucy's room. We all looked at him. "It seems her illness has made her lose memories" James wasn't helping me calm down.

"Can you help her?" Levy soon asked as her and Jellal were the smartest here. They would understand and explain anything we didn't understand. "If the test come back alright she should be able to gain her memories back with time and you lot being around her" James then explained as I really wanted to hit something again. James then saw the hole in the wall and sighed. "Natsu you was warned this could happen if the stress of her company was brought to her" James looked at me.

"Then Im going to punch a hole into her fathers head" I then replied the venom in my voice showing as the others looked at me worried. James nodded. "Unless Jude Heartfilla starts understanding that she needs less company stress something worse could happen to Miss Heartfilla" James then explained before leaving us all there to think. I got up getting the others to look at me. "Im going to speak to Mr Heartfilla" I muttered coldly leaving them all. They all knew they couldn't stop me.

It was time I had some harsh words with him....
