His Secret (NaLu)

Chapter 18

Natsu's Pov, 

Lucy and I were sitting and walking around in my mothers old greenhouse for a couple of hours as my phone went off once again. I look to see Lucy was busy looking around the flower beds as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

I want to see and talk to Lucy you idiot Salamander! 

I kept a growl hidden as I knew who it was. Sting. He, Lucy and I was close once but then Lucy got ill and was not aloud to leave her house. I deleted the message and put my phone back in my pocket to see Lucy smiling at the red and pink roses. I walked over and hugged Lucy from behind. Lucy giggled a little and looked at me with a smile. "Mother really loved planting red and pink roses" I smiled at Lucy who then looked at me a little shocked. I did rarely talked about my mother. It did hurt to talk about her.

But when it was with Lucy there wasn't any pain as I knew she also lost her mother. Lucy turned around to face me as she placed her hand on my cheek. I couldn't help but smile at her a little more. "My mother loved planting Bellflowers" Lucy then had hint of sadness in her eyes as I could tell she was remembering something. I had both my arms around her waist as I moved one to place my then free hand on Lucy's that was on my cheek. I then turned my head and kissed Lucy's hand getting her to smile at me once again.

"Let's head out, I got a plan" I then had my signature smirk on my face getting Lucy to raise an eyebrow. I removed my arm that was around her waist as I still had hold of her hand. We walked out the greenhouse to see someone standing not far wearing a black hood looking this way. "Errr who's that?" Lucy asked. "Not sure, come on lets get out of here" I replied not wanting to set off Lucy's illness. I had a feeling I knew who that was. My older brother. Zeref. He ran away from home years ago just before mother died.

He used to help me protect Lucy when we was younger. He always said he only cared for three people. That Lucy and I were two of them. Then when he ran away I did try finding him, I tried to contact him but after years of looking with no answer or clues I had given up. I knew if my brother didn't want to be found he wouldn't of. Lucy and I got in the car. I started the car up as I then started to head down to the library in the middle of town. "Virgo and father should be home today" Lucy was staring out the window of the car.

"Any idea of what time?" I asked as Lucy shrugged. My phone went off once again as I didn't even look at it. Lucy then looked at me raising an eyebrow. "Most likely my idiot old man" I then lied. I didn't want her getting worried or meeting with Sting. Lucy nodded as I parked outside the library to see Gajeel's car in front. He and Levy were already here. I got out the car and hurried to Lucy's side to open the door for her and offer my hand. Lucy smiled at me taking my hand as she got out the car. 

"So Levy and Gajeel are here then?" Lucy asked looking at Gajeel's car. I nearly forgot she had an amazing memory. I closed the door and nodded offering my arm. Lucy took my arm as we walked up the stairs to the library doors. The towns library was pretty big, it was one of the oldest and biggest buildings in the town. Soon as we got inside I spotted Gajeel in the back corner looking like he had fallen asleep in one of the chairs. Lucy was looking around in shocked as I knew she loved reading and writing. 

Lucy and I walked toward where Gajeel was to see Levy in the seat next to him reading. "Hey guys" Levy whispered smiling at us both. "Hey" Lucy and I both replied as we sat down in the two chairs in front of Gajeel and Levy. Lucy and Levy kicked it off talking about books as I pulled out my phone.

DAMN IT DRAGNEEL

I deleted the message and put my phone away as Levy and Lucy got up and walked toward the Fairy Tale books. I watched from afar keeping my eye on Lucy. Until my phone went off once again. I groaned and checked it.

Virgo~
Me and Mr Heartfilla are home, he wants Lucy home around 5pm, Master 

I sighed running my fingers through my hair as I texted back an 'ok' before putting my phone away. I then turned my head to see Levy and Lucy whispering to each other, both of them having excitement in their eyes. I then saw outside a window the figure in the hood once again. This time he was watching Lucy. I kicked Gajeel's leg making him open his eyes and glare at him. "Someones stalking the girls, 3 o'clock window" I then whispered to him as he then saw the figure also. "I will watch the figure you watch the girls" Gajeel then replied.

I nodded as we sat there for a couple of hours as Lucy and Levy just kept reading books after books. Soon they finished and walked over. "Lucy and I wanna meet here again next week, that ok?" Levy asked looking at me. I nodded as Lucy smiled more excitement was in her eyes. Gajeel and I got up as we all walked out the library together. Lucy and Levy talking about some book with a dragon in it. "See you at college tomorrow" Gajeel then looked at me as I groaned. College. Nearly forgot about that. Levy and Lucy hugged goodbye as we all went to the cars.

"Had fun?" I asked once me and Lucy were in the car as she nodded. "Yes, thank you for bringing me Natsu" Lucy replied as I put my hand on her cheek. "Anything to see you smile Lucy" I whispered as she smiled more her cheeks going a little red. I then removed my hand as I started the car up.
