Next Day, Lucy's Pov, 

That day coming out of hospital the group took me out. We meet with all the others as they all did meet Wendy who became part of our group. Juvia and Mira the most excited for the wedding to come as that day I was mostly smiling toward the engagement ring Natsu had given me. I Couldn't help but smile when seeing it. It showed our love in so many ways. Through that day I wasn't getting any better. I felt the pain through my legs getting worse as that night I had Grandine come check on me while the others were talking about the Christmas Party.

Grandine was more worried after the check as we found out my pulse was getting weaker. She was going to get some medication to help with it. I was sitting in the living room in the wheelchair staring out the window to see the streets covered in snow. I smiled seeing children playing throughout the snow as I personally always wanted to be a mother. "Lucy" I heard Wendy as I turned my head seeing her walking over and sitting next to me on the couch. "What is up Wendy?" I asked seeing her playing with her hair.

"W-well......I kinda got a crush" she whispered as I nearly fangirled and nearly turned into Mira hearing her words. I smiled grabbing her hands. "I want to know everything" I replied as her cheeks were on fire telling me about a boy named Romeo she had met with her mother with travelling as the two always kept in touch and that he lived in Magnolia. I soon found out Wendy wanted to meet with him but not alone. "I can come" I offered as Wendy had excitement in her eyes. "Really?" she asked as I nodded.

"Will Natsu let us?" she soon asked as I started thinking. "Let you do what?" I heard Natsu as we turned our heads to see him walking over as he kissed my cheek making me smile brightly. "Wendy wants some bonding time alone" I then answered/explained as in end it wasn't a lie. Natsu started thinking crossing his arms as Wendy started begging. Natsu soon let out a sigh and agree before explaining my medication to her. Wendy understood it better than Natsu did in end she was telling him facts about them.

I was laughing at Natsu's shocked and confused face as Natsu helped me with getting to our room and with getting changed. "I feel useless" I mumbled sitting on the bed as Natsu was putting my shoes on as he moved up to have his face close to mine. "You are everything but that" he whispered his head moving closer to mine. Our lips were about to touch until we heard Wendy shouting to hurry up. Natsu groaned as I chuckled as Natsu then picked me up in a bridal hold. "I love you" I spoke kissing his cheek.

Natsu before putting me back into my fear of the wheelchair he spun us around getting me to laugh as he joined along afterwards. "Natsu" I laughed more as he pulled me into a kiss. I couldn't help but kiss back as one of my hands went onto his cheek as he pulled away right before we ran out of air. "Call me when you need me alright" he whispered as I nodded while he put me in the chair before taking me to the new lift on the stairs that Igneel had put in and ready within an hour of finding out I was in this wheelchair.

Igneel and Natsu had been nothing but perfect. I personally couldn't help but smile at how amazing they had been. Natsu helped with getting me to the sidewalk as he then pulled off his signature scarf and placed it around me. "Only way I will be happy with this" he spoke kissing my nose getting me to blush and smile even more. Wendy giggled as she was holding the bag of medication and money from Natsu as he waved us by as Wendy was pushing us along the sidewalk. We was both laughing and talking.

I was warmer than normal with Natsu also making sure I had a blanket wrapped around my legs. "You know mother is working on getting you to walk again" Wendy spoke as I turned my head smiling at her. "How about we work on today. One day at a time Wendy and remember the Christmas party is tomorrow meaning Natsu will have the decorations up when we get home" I replied as Wendy smiled even more as after last nights check my thoughts of the future were blank.

I was unsure on what was happened all together. While we was going along the path I did feel the cold affect my body in some ways but was used to that. When last name came along I had written some things out. My own heart and mind telling me to do so. I was getting worse and worse by the hour. I kept it from everyone. I knew something was coming at me. I wasn't sure what it was but I was ready. I was ready to fight and win. "I can't wait for tomorrow, Natsu even let me invite Romeo" Wendy spoke excited.

I giggled at her as we got to the park to see the young boy Wendy described there.

"HEY WENDY" Romeo shouted waving and rushing over as Wendy parked me next to a bench and rushed over to him as the two hugged. I couldn't help but smile at the two as they pulled away talking right away as Wendy pulled Romeo to me. "This is Lucy my soon to be cousin" Wendy spoke excited as I laughed slightly not seeing her this childish before. "It is nice to meet you Romeo, Wendy talked about you a lot" I spoke smirking slight as Romeo's and Wendy's cheeks went on fire.

Caught it. He liked her back. He and I shook hands as he talked like a real gentlemen. Soon we was all heading to a cafe, Romeo pushing the wheelchair as I was able to get Wendy to let him do so. They was talking to their hearts content about so many things at once I was unable to keep up but it was so cute to see them like this and so close.
