Ariel's pov
"Hey Ariel, how's Canada treating you?" Beck answered the phone.
"I'll tell you later Beck, but I need help with Dean." I sighed.
"Why? What's wrong?" His voice went from happy to worried in a split second.
"I think he has dyslexia." I heard mumbles on the other end and Beck didn't talk towards me for a long minute. "How did mom know that she had it?"
"She always had troubles and writing as a kid, but her foster mother never went to get her tested so Snow had a lot of troubles in school. She didn't find out that she was dyslexic till she was 19." Beck told me. "Go get Dean tested, he may need a special learning plan."
"I'm getting on that." I told him, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I'll call you later Beck."
I called a couple different doctors, none of them had any openings to see Dean for a couple months.
"Please." I whispered to myself, dialing the number.
"Hello Dr Collins office." A female answered the phone.
"Hi, my name is Ariel Colt, I was calling to see if there was any way I can make an appointment with Dr Collins."
"What is the appointment for?" She asked.
"My brother needs to be tested for dyslexia."
"I can schedule you an early appointment for Saturday the 23rd at 8:30am." She said. "Is that okay."
"That sounds great, thank you." I waiting till she hung up then I let out the sigh of relief that I've been holding in.

Two days later, Dean and I were sitting in the waiting room of the doctors office.
"Dean Colt."
Dean looked up at the mention of his name, and turned to me, his eyes wide with worry.
"Do you want me to go with you?" I asked him.
He nodded, grabbing my hand nervously.
"Right through here." The lady who called his name smiled at us. She guided us through a door. "Dr Collins will be with you shortly."
Dean still hadn't let go of my hand, but he sat on the paper covered bed swinging his legs from side to side.
"It'll be okay Dean." I told him, kissing his temple.
The door opened and a man walked in.
He looked young, he had dark brown hair, brown eyes and tan skin.
A second person entered the room after him.
She was pretty young looking too, with long reddish brown hair, brown eyes and her skin was close to being tanned but not quite there yet.
"I'm Dr Collins." He smiled at the two of us. "This is Dr Kyle, she's a learning specialist, she'll be helping me run these tests."
"We're going to take Dean to another room so that he can complete an assessment."
"Can I go with him?" I asked, feeling Dean nervously squeeze my hand.
"I'm sorry, you'll have to wait out in the waiting room." Dr Kyle told me.
Dean looked up at me, his eyes wide with fear.
"Don't worry Dean, it's just an assessment, I'll be waiting outside when you finish." I ruffled his hair and smiled, trying to reassure him.
