"Come on Mia, he's just a stupid boy that no one talks to! Throw it already!"
"Yeah come on! His parents will buy him more clothes. All our parents can afford it."
All of the children's parents were wealthy so they didn't know any better.
Mia looked at her friends and then at the boy who she's known for two years now. They were in preschool and kindergarten together. Even though she never talked to him it was still difficult.
"I'm sorry guys, but I can't do it." Mia looked down hoping this was the best decision.
"Don't be such a baby" said Tia. Tia was a short African/White girl. Her hair was dark brown and wavy. She was Mia's best friend because they both realized their names rhyme.
Mia gave into the crowd of kids and threw the ball of food at the boy. She laughed with the rest and said "You shouldn't of come here kid."
He was a white boy with dark brown curly hair. He was wearing a white shirt with barney drawing on the front of it. He looked at Mia and then everybody else.
Then he got up and ran away as fast as he could while trying to hide his tears.
"Boys don't cry in front of girls. That's what daddy said. Mommy is gonna kill me for ruining my only white shirt..." He thought to himself.
Mia looked at where he was before he ran away and saw a little gold chain necklace that had the name Elliot on it. She walked up to it and picked it up.
All the kids walked away from the group talking to one another. Mia stashed the chain in her pocket and later put it in her Tinkerbell jewelry box for safe keeping.
