Bad Girl Gone Good

Chapter 4

There Mia was leaning against the wall next to the girls bathroom. She had on Valentino high heels with gold studs all around the straps. "I need to buy some Valentinos soon..."

"Mia! Hey girl!" She went over to give her air kisses. "Now why are we skipping this time?" Tia said curiously remembering the chain she had just recently stuffed in her pocket.

"Um...well I got so sick of being in beak nose's class." Mia said nervously. Tia raised her right eyebrow and put her hand on the chain. "Would this have anything to do with it?" She said as she revealed the chain for Mia to see.

Mia's eyes widened and wondered what Tia would think if she claimed it as her. "What is that?" her confusion sounded believable. "Does that say Elliot? Why do you have that?" She said trying to make it sound like she was accusing Tia of something.

"I found it on the floor after you and Elliot ran into each other. I knew it couldn't be yours for starters it says his name on it. OMG I also thought you were sneaking around with him. He's such a loser Mia! Thank gawd you aren't. Wait you aren't right?" She looked at Mia straight in the eyes. 

"Tia I'm not I swear! Why would I? He's like so poor. There is no such thing as middle class. Besides I would tell you dummy!" Mia sounded so believable that Tia was pleased and said "Okay then let's go!"

Tia threw the necklace in the grey garbage bin that was nearest to them. It made a loud cling as it his a tin can inside the garbage. Mia let out a small whimper but Tia couldn't hear it. While Tia was walking away Mia grabbed the necklace from the garbage and quickly caught up with her best friend.

The girls walked up to the limo and waited for Chive to get out the car so he could open the door for them. He did as he was use to and opened the door and said "Madam." he bowed his head towards her and closed the door behind them.

"So my mom only gave me $3000 to spend today. I swear being grounded is the worst." Tia said truly frustrated. "At least its not like last time when she told me I had to do chores for the money...we all know how that went."

Mia sighed and said "Mothers huh? Not as bad as when my dad made me actually volunteer for a charity. As if I care? All they need is the money! Not my help...." Tia agreed.

They finally reached the mall and to their surprise John was there by himself in the food court. The mall was empty since it was in the middle of a school day.

Tia looked at him and said "I hear that John can get us Id's so we can get wasted Saturday night. I bet you could get him to make it for us and he'd probably make them free of charge."

Mia smirked and said "Done and done." She walked up to John and the second he saw her coming towards him his face lit up. "Mia! Um...I mean hey Mia..."

"John sweety?" Mia bit her lip to seduce him into doing what she wanted. "Can you do me a favor?" She twirled her hair with her finger and stepped closer to him. He smelled like way too much cologne was sprayed on him.

"Of course anything for you Mia!" He looked like a puppy begging for her acceptance. "What is it?"

"Well me and my friend Tia, you know Tia?" he nodded "Well we kind of need fake Id's so we can go get drinks Saturday. We know you only make them for your closest friends." Mia started playing with his fingers.

"I can make them! I know how to make fake Id's. I'll make them for you for free! Pretty girls shouldn't have to pay for anything." John was really excited now.

"That would be amazing." She kissed him on the cheek and watched as he fainted and hit the floor.

She just looked at him and started to walk towards Tia. "Um what just happened?" asked Tia. "We got our Id's so we are getting totaled on Saturday." Mia smiled.

They shopped until they were sure school was over which was about 3:00pm. Each held more than five shopping bags in each hand. People started flooding in the mall.

"Mia it's time for our afternoon Starbucks break!" Tia said enthusiastically.

They went over to the Starbucks in the mall and saw that there was a new Cashier. "Elliot..." Mia whispered to herself. Tia had no problem walking to him and just said "The usual."

Elliot looked confused and said "Maybe you haven't noticed but I'm new here. I don't know what your usual is, sorry."

Frustrated already Tia said "Two tall mocha frappuccinos. Extra cream on both  and extra mocha in hers. Is that too hard for you?"

Elliot didn't say a word "That all comes up to $7.04 and please no bills over 50"

"Curtis always gave us our drinks for free!" Tia protested and Mia nodded and added "You can't charge us for it."

"Well last time I checked my name wasn't Curtis and I never gave anyone a coffee for free unless I paid for it myself. Now that will be $7.04 and if you don't wanna pay then that's fine with me. Two free coffees for Elliot and none for you." He smiled a sarcastic smile and started to take the coffees away from them.

Tia rolled her eyes and said "Fine." She gave him the money and left with Mia.

"Can you believe that guy? How dare he speak to us like that? Like he's trained by animals." Tia was furious and contemplated the thought of getting him fired. "I'm going to complain!"

"What that he wouldn't let us have their product for free? They wouldn't look twice at our case Tia." Mia explained to her.

Tia rolled her eyes and said "Whatever Mia. Let's go to my house."
