It was 12:30pm when Mia woke up the next day. She woke up groggy and had a huge headache. She looked down and only saw herself in a bra and panties. She was confused because she knew she went to the party last night and now she was in her room. 'That drunk?' "I need coffee...MRS.POTTERS!!!." She yelled from her room.
Mrs. Potters came running in the room into Mia's room with coffee ready in her hand. "Wow you already knew what I was gonna ask for?" Mia said surprisingly.
Mrs. Potters smiled and said "Are you alright sweety?" She gave her a kiss on the forehead and sat on the bed next to her.
Mia looked embarrassed "Yeah I'm fine. Honestly I don't remember what happened last night. When did I get home?" She rubbed her eyes and grabbed the coffee taking a huge gulp of it.
"Well Mia a young boy around your age came in carrying you telling me something awful happened...Mia, a boy tried to hurt to you well...sexually. Luckily a young man saved you and brought you home and he told me that you were okay. Thank god! Mia I told you to be careful." She cried and hugged Mia the tightest she could.
"WHAT?!?!?! Mrs. Potters I don't know what happened! I don't remember anything! How could this have happened? What if the person actually went through with it? " She busted out into tears and buried her face in Mrs. Potters soft chest.
Mrs. Potter rubbed the back of Mia's hair and said "I know sweetheart. That boy stayed with me longer until the police came and he answered all their questions. So it looks like the person who did it will be punished for hurting you Mia. Everything will be okay I promise this." She held Mia until she finally stopped crying.
"Do you know who it was?" Mia said. Mrs. Potters nodded her head yes "Yes but I've forgotten the name. If you'd like you can ask the boy that brought you here. He told me he left something on you're night stand for you. I won't tell you his name because he told me not to. He knew for some reason that you will know when you see what he made." Mrs. Potters smiled and thought it was time to let Mia sit and think about this.
Mia looked over to her night stand and saw a white piece of paper. There was a red rose with a green stem drawn on the paper.
"My daddy says flowers makes girls happy."
She smiled a little bit realizing that even after all bad some good things can happen to her.
"I have to speak to him now." She got up from her pink and black queen bed and searched her closet for something decent to wear.
She pulled out a white blouse and blue skinny jeans, put them on with whatever shoes matched and was on her way to Elliot's house.
~
Elliot's house wasn't ugly at all. It had a new coat of medium brown and the perfectly green grass was freshly cut. Even the bushes in the front were cut with precision. It was a two story house and looked just like the ones from those heartwarming family movies.
She walked up the white stone steps to the front door and rang the doorbell. She waited ten seconds until she heard light footsteps coming to the door.
The door opened wide revealing a pretty lady that was a little shorter then Mia. She had thick curly brown hair that was past her shoulders. She had a warm smile like a mother should have. She was probably around the age of 45 to 50 but didn't have many wrinkles.
"Wow you're really pretty! Who might you be?" She said with a welcoming voice.
Mia smiled "Thank you. My name is Mia I was wondering if Elliot was here?" She looked behind the woman looking for him.
