Gianna's POV:

The next day we woke up at 9 am to get ready for Diagon Alley. We noticed John had in fact actually stayed there and hoped that he had invited the twins. We got dressed quickly and went to eat breakfast.

"Are you sure you can go alone?" My father asked nervously. They were reluctant on letting us go to Diagon Alley with just John.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want anything to happen to you guys. Do you think we should go? What would your parents think of us letting you alone, Natalie?" My mother asked, looking stressed. I shrugged.

"Don't worry about it, John will be there and the Weasley kids too. We can take care of ourselves." Natalie said trying to persuade them. Eventually they agreed and we walked over to the burrow to find John.

As we arrived to the Burrow we could hear someone arguing. I guess Fred and George had pulled a prank and Mrs. Weasley wasn't very happy. The door was open, we entered to see Mrs. Weasley scolding George. Fred and John were sitting in the livingroom laughing.

"Gianna, Natalie, dear. Don't mind us. Go ahead eat something." She said smiling at us but proceeded to argue with George. We went over to Fred and John.

"Natalie, great to see you back so soon." Fred said and winked at her. John looked at him weirdly. I questionably looked over at George and Fred got my message. "He took one for the team."

"Are we ready yet?" Ron said running down the stairs. Hermione followed. She wasn't here yesterday, was she?

"Gianna, did you talk to your parents about the World Cup on Monday?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"Yeah, they're fine with it, but they want to talk to you guys first if it's okay." I said not paying much attention to anything except George frightened at his mother. "They should be coming in a few."

"Are we all set?" Asked Hermione. We traveled through floo powder and arrived at Diagon Alley soon enough. When we arrived, the twins and John went their own way.

"Meet us at Florean's in two hours!" I shouted. George gave me thumbs up to confirm that he had heard me. Ron, Hermione, Natalie and I kept walking around. Ron and Natalie kept talking about how Bulgaria will win. Again, I was with the Irish but I didn't have enough knowledge to take on an argument alone. Hermione and I made small talk while we walked around not actually entering any store.

"Are we actually going to buy our school things?" Hermione asked a little annoyed.

"Did you really think we were?" I said giggling. I headed over to Rosa Lee Teabag and bought some eccentric tea flavors. When I went out I was alone. I kind of panicked about it but not really. I headed my own way to Gambol and Japes Joke Shop in hopes to find my brother and the twins. As soon as I entered I saw people laughing and running around prancing each other and some of those were the twins. John wasn't that eager to play with them he just observed the different fireworks.

"Is it time already?" He asked me as soon as he noticed I was there. I shook my head. "It's a bit chilly here isn't it? I guess someone opened a freezer ball thing." I nodded taking a Bowie jacket out of my bag and putting it on.

"I got sidetracked and lost the others." I blurted out, John laughed.
"You don't say?" He said sarcastically. The twins finally noticed I was there and walked over to me.

"Didn't quite see you as a Bowie girl." Fred said examining my jacket.

"You guys know about him?" I asked, to be honest I only knew about him from being with Natalie's family and the muggles around them.

"Dad brought some of his records over to our house a while back. We got obsessed." George said.

We headed back to Florean's to see Hermione, Natalie and Ron sitting there.
"Oh, Gianna. I'm sorry for leaving you there! I got distracted as well." Hermione said.

"It's fine, she had good company!" George said. "Anyone up for ice cream?" They all agreed on getting sundaes. George and I went to order. He kept looking out of the window, he was quieter than usual.

"What's up?" I asked. He snapped out of it.

"You see that empty building there." He said pointing at an empty lot in the middle. I nodded. "Fred and I are planning to buy it someday and open up our own joke shop!- and sell our original products." I smiled, this has been the first time he had said something rather personal and serious.

"I think that's a great idea." I said, I opened my mouth to keep talking but Florean called our order.
