Mr Schue: Right guys after the duet competition i want to do something that's not to do with competitions so this week your assignment is to sing a song that defines where you are in your life right now.

*bell rings*

Finn and Rachel walk out together

Finn: I really don't get why your dating that Jessie dude, the guy is a total jerk.

Rachel: Well hes the only guy that would actually be with me.

Finn: That is so not true there are tons of guys who would be with you

Rachel: Oh yeah like who?

Finn: Like the entire football team but most of all..me

Rachel: Oh yeah, well it didn't seem that way. How is Stephanie by the way?

Finn: We broke up.

Rache: Oh im sorr...

Jessie: Hey Rach what you doing.

Rachel sees Finn's face drop.

Rachel: Nothing, just talking to Finn.

Jessie: Oh yeah, what about?

Rachel: Errr...

Finn: Glee Club

Jessie: Oh yeah forgot your in that loser club

Rachel: Jessie don't say that

Jessie: Why not its true. Look I'm gonna go.

Jessie walks off.

Finn: Like I said..total jerk

Quinn: So Rachel hows it going with Jessie

Rachel: Okay i guess.

Santana: Why whats up

Rachel: I don't know I just don't see us lasting

Quinn: What because you still like Finn. Hes not worth your time.

Rachel: I know but...

Santana: No buts remember how he treated you. He doesn't deserve. Don't be hung up on him focus on you and Jessie.

Finn: Mr Schuester can i perform my song

Mr Schue: Yeah sure take it away

Finn looks at the band indicating them to start.

I cant believe Finn sang that song, I really like him even after everything that has happened. I know Santana and Quinn wont let me like him if I tell them. I'll just have to keep it a secret until I know what I am going to do. I'm just gonna have to avoid Finn as well. I miss talking to him. I just miss him.

Santana ~POV~

I cant believe he sang that song it was so sweet I still hate him but not as much now and I can see how much he likes her but it still doesn't make up for everything hes done.

Quinn ~POV~ 

God, I wish someone would sing a song to me like that. Don't get me wrong I still hate Finn's guts but it was really sweet what he did.

**A WEEK AGO**

Breadstix

Puck: Look San I like you but I don't want to take this any further because you know what I'm like I really don't want to hurt you.

Santana: But...

Puck: No trust me this is for the best.

Puck leaves looking so upset Santana tries to hold back her tears.

Glee Club

Mr Schue: Finn take a seat that was amazing, right anybody else want to perform their song?

Puck: Please can I go?

Mr Schue: Sure Puck.

Puck sings Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars and keeps looking at Santana throughout his performance. Rachel keeps looking at Santana and most of the time is Finn is too and while they are turning back round to watch Puck perform they catch each others glance.

Mr Schue: What another great performance you guys are really proving yourself.

Right guys see you next week.

Finn: Rachel you've been avoiding and i just want to say I'm done trying to 'get you' I hope your happy with Jessie. I've got back with Stephanie anyway.

Rachel: Oh okay.

Jessie walks up.

Jessie: God Rachel you flirt with every guy you see and I'm not cool with that. We're done.

Rachel: What?

Finn: Dude that's not cool

Jessie Since when do you care aren't you with Stephanie now.

Finn: Still Rachel's my friend and you dint say stuff like that to anybody anyway. She wasn't flirting with me or anyone, your the one that flirts with everyone.

Jessie pushes Finn and he pushes back this happens for a while.

Rachel: Guys please stop this

Finn takes it a step further and punches Jessie in the face. He falls and then Finn starts kicking him. All the anger he has kept inside him is finally coming out.

Rachel: Please Finn stop!

Mr Schue hears all the noise and walks round the corner and sees the fight and breaks them up.

Mr Schue: Right you two principals office now.
