Nothing Stays Perfect Forever

Finn and Rachel are now the 'it' couple at school. The word spread pretty fast about their newly found romance. When they walk down the hall people stop and stare. All the girls want a boyfriend as hot and as sweet and caring as Finn. All the guys want a girlfriend as fit and as amazing as Rachel. But everybody wanted a relationship like theirs.
They were getting all the solos in glee club and got to perform duets. Also no one would complain because when either of them got a solo they would just watch the way they looked at the other one whilst they sang. And the other glee club members would practically volunteer Finn and Rachel because everybody loved to see them sing together their voices were made to sing together they fitted each others perfectly. They would be together every weekend either alone or with their friends. Rachel gained a lot of older brothers as all of Finn's friends love her and will do anything to protect her and this means the world to Finn. Rachel's friends treat Finn with so much respect and he treats Santana and Quinn like his sisters.

Santana: Rachel I never really get chance to tell you this but I am so happy for you. You deserve this.

Quinn: Yeah me too, you and Finn were made for each other your just perfect together.

Rachel: Aw thanks you too. I still fall for him everyday.

Quinn and Santana:Aww

Rachel -POV-

Oh my god Finn is just so dreamy. He is the best boyfriend I have had! I think I'm falling in love with him. I don't want to say anything as we've only been seeing each other for three weeks and it's too soon, at least I think it is. It's not like we don't have a history or anything. Mine and Finns history is just complicated. But right now I don t care about the past all I care is about now. I am so happy with Finn it's just amazing when I'm with him. The rest of the room is a blur and all I see is him clearer than ever. When I'm with him nothing else matters.

Finn -POV-

I'm definitely falling for Rachel. I know I've always liked her ever since I saw her the first day of this year. She's just perfect

Finn picks Rachel up for her surprise.

Rachel hears a beep of a car horn. She checks herself in the mirror she thinks she looks okay. When she reaches the bottom of the stairs Finn is already at the door. She opens it.

Finn: Wow. You look beautiful

Rachel: Thank you, you look very handsome.

Finn:You ready?

Rachel: Yeah, you still haven't told me where we're going!

Finn: You'll find out soon.

Finn drives to somewhere Rachel has never been before then again she hasn't really travelled further than Lima's shopping centre.
Finn then persuades Rachel to wear a blindfold. He takes her into a building and they take the elevator. Rachel is desperate to know what is going on. She then hears the elevator doors open. She then hears Finn open a door and before she steps through he takes off her blindfold. And that is when she sees it. She's on the rooftop of a very tall building and the sun is just setting so she can see all the lights. Then when she steps out to admire the view she sees a table with candles with two seats.

Rachel: Finn this is...amazing

Finn: You like it?

Rachel: I love it this is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me.

Finn: I'm glad you like it

Rachel: How did you do all this?

Finn: well before we started dating and all the horrible stuff that we went through when we were really good friends we were watching one of those soppy romantic movies and the guy in one of them took his date to the top of the Empire State Building when you can see all the lights and I remember you saying how you always wanted that to happen to you and you always wanted to see the lights from high up. So I did some research and this is the highest building in Ohio so I begged the owner to be able to rent it and here we go.

Rachel kisses Finn. Finn kisses back and deepens it. They eventually have to break away for air.

Rachel: This is just so breathtaking.

Finn: Let's eat.

They both enjoy a romantic meal in a very romantic setting. It is an amazing night for both of them. The next day Rachel can't wait to tell her friends about the amazing time that was last night. When she told the story she got a lot of 'awes and oh my gods'. They all said how they wished their boyfriends were like Finn or how they wanted one like him.

Rachel: Santana, Quinn how am I meant to do something as amazing as Finn did. I mean he just can't organise every date we go on.

Quinn: OMG you know what you should do? You should ring up him mum and ask her what Finn has never done and what he really wants to do and as long as it's in reason you should organise it.

Santana: That is actually a really good idea *high fives Quinn*

Rachel: It really is thank you so much.

Rachel rings up Carole, Finns mum, and asks her something that Finn has never done that he really wants to do. They both arrange to make sure that it's a surprise. Carole said that she would make sure he makes no plans for that day and helped her get everything arranged. Rachel and Carole got along and Carole approves of Rachel after that phone call.

It was finally time for Finns surprise. Rachel drove round to Finns house and Carole,who was expecting her, let her in.

Carole: Finn!!

Finn: Yeah mom, what's up. Oh hey Rach what you doing here.

Rachel: Well..

Carole: Me and Rachel teamed up and planned a surprise for you. You won't know what it is before you get there so don't try asking.

Rachel: Haha yes! Right we better get going otherwise we're going to be late. Let's go!

They drive for quite a while. Then they arrive.

Finn: Wait I know where we are. This is the stadium of the Cincinnati Bengals. Wait is thi....

Rachel: You first football game you've been to see yes!

Finn: Rachel this is amazing your the best girlfriend ever, wait I thought you didn't watch football.

Rachel: Well I thought I better watch some before I came and I actually really like it!!

Finn: Like I said..best girlfriend ever!!!

Rachel gives him a team shirt and a foam finger. When they got in they took their seats. Rachel and Carole had managed to get seats really close to the front. Finn had a great time and so did Rachel. Their team won which made Finns day even better when they got back Finn could not stop smiling Rachel walked him to the door. Carole was there to greet them Finn started to tell her all about it.

Carole: Your lucky I'm going to be hearing about it all night now!

Rachel:Haha good luck, bye Finn" she shouts and blows Finn a kiss which he catches.

**THE NEXT DAY**

Finn practically runs to school that morning he tells all the jocks about what happened just like Rachel did with her friends last week and like her friends Finns all wanted girlfriends like Rachel. None of their girlfriends would ever take them to a football match yet alone watch it with them and enjoy it.
Little does Finn know that whist he is telling his story Jesse is stood in the corner listening into the conversation plotting how to split him and Rachel up. He suddenly thinks of an idea that may just work. He is desperate to get Rachel back and since he is nothing to her at the moment he has to make sure his plan works.
