“Well… Um, she was ah. Wandering around…”
“Oh just spit it out Nath!” Tom shouts.
“Fine. She was, ugh I can’t say it.” I role my eyes then pull my sweaters sleeves up, revealing the deep cuts going up my arms, followed by many bruises.
“Oh my god.” Max whispers. I push my sleeves back down.” We should… ah. Probably go, to the ah concert.” The boys make weird noises, which I figure means they’re agreeing with Max.
“Do, eh you want to come?” Jay asks me nervously. I think for a second.
“No, thanks. I’ll just stay in your, bus.” They nod, and rush away. I walk to the bus and open the door, immediately revealing the fact that 5 boys live here; dirty clothes and garbage scattered across the floor, the smell of many different kinds of cologne fill the air, already giving me a slight headache.
I find my way to the bathroom then lock myself in. My hand reaches into my jeans pocket, closing around my blade and pulling it out, then set it on the counter. I slip out of my sweater, followed by my The Script t-shirt and jeans leaving me standing there in my bra and underwear.
I stare at myself in the mirror. My small figure, large thighs, bulging stomach and chubby cheeks make me look like an un-developed cow. After grabbing the blade off the counter, I slide it across my thighs, followed by my arms. I start feeling woozy, and I’m about to faint but I catch myself on the counter.
The blade drops to the floor in a clatter. My legs begin to shake, my whole body starting to sweat. I fall to the ground, covered in my own blood.
Nathan’s POV
“I’m Glad You Came!” The crowd cheers, and me and the boys bow then rush off stage, earning even more screams for us to come back.
“That was awesome; did you see that one girl?” Max asks.
“The one that tried to pull you off stage?” Jay replies, and Max nods both of them laughing. “Oh c’mon Nath. Aren’t you happy?”
“I just can’t get Air out of my head. We shouldn’t have left her alone; what if she ran off, or what if she killed herself, or what if she went back to her house, or,” I start to panic.
“Nath, calm down. I’m sure she’s fine.” Tom says, and I snap.
“FINE? Tom, there’s something wrong with her! You can’t just leave people in that state alone and expect them to be fine! What if she’s lying on the ground in the middle of the street dead right now? And it would be all my fault!” I feel tears stinging my eyes. “And all those bruises, what are they from? Her trying to kill herself but failing and just getting hurt?”
“Nathan, how about you stop yelling and we’ll go to the bus to check on her.” Siva says. We all start walk out of the building, but a group of girls spot us and run towards us, and many other screaming fans follow. There all reaching out, and giving me phones to take pictures with, and pictures to sign, but I just ignore them and push through the crowd.
I run into the tour bus and see no sign of Air. “Air!” I shout. No reply. “Air!” I run around the bus looking for her. I try to open the door from the bathroom but it’s locked. The boys soon come rushing in the bus, also looking for her. I kick at the door one time, leaving a crack, the second time leaving a hole and the third time most of it is gone, just enough room for me to slide in.
“Whoa Nath, I never knew you were that strong.” Tom says, and I can’t believe my eyes. “Nath?” Tom looks threw the hole and he starts to panic as well. “Boys! Call the hospital!”
