Nathan pushes Peonies off of him, and comes up to me. Jacob doesn’t let go of me, though, not that I want him to. “Can I have a minute?” Nathan says to Jacob.
“No, you don’t deserve a minute with her.” Jacob spits. EXCUSE ME! Don’t I have a say?
“What did I do to not deserve a minute?” Nathan replies.
“I need to leave, and you should probably get back to your girlfriend.” I say and then pull Jacob out of the apartment. Jay was supposed to get all of my stuff, but he comes out empty handed. “Jay,” I start.
He quickly realizes that he forgot it. “Oh, sorry. Here I’ll go get it.” He says, but I grab his arm and pull him back.
“No, let’s just leave. It’s not like any of it was important.” I say, and Jay doesn’t protest. We walk to Jay’s car, which he must have left at Max’s, and Jacob sits in the front seat with Jay. As I get in the back I see Jacob lean over and whisper something in Jay’s ear. Jay nods before starting the car and driving.
We get to a part of the city that I don’t recognize, we should be at Jay’s by now. “Where are we going?” I ask. Nobody answers me, why do they always do this? What I wouldn’t give for a knife or something. And then I slowly start to realize…
“Are you taking me to a hospital!?” I ask panicking. The two boys glance at each other quickly before looking back at the road. “No, you can’t take me to a hospital!” I yell, ripping off my seatbelt. I lean in to talk to them.
“Air, get back. We’re going to get in trouble.” Jay says swerving through traffic with one hand and pushing me away with the other. I smack his hand away.
“Don’t touch me! Let me go! You’re not allowed to take me to a hospital!” Jacob finally gets me to sit back in my seat. By now, I know for a fact they’re taking me to see what’s wrong with me, physically. I punch through the glass window as hard as possible, creating a series of cracks in it. I go again, and again, when it finally collapses, the glass now on the road.
“What the hell are you doing!?!” Shouts Jay looking behind him.
“I’m stopping this car, idiot!” All of a sudden the car comes to a screeching halt. My head smacks against the roof, followed by the back of the front seat. My vision is blurry and I’m woozy but not quite on the verge of un-conscience.
Jay and Jacob are motionless in the front seat, but I can still see their chests rising and falling. I un-lock the car door and start running away from crash. I hear sirens in the distance, approaching the scene. The world is so blurry I just notice that I only fell out of the car, and I lie on the ground in a pool of thick red liquid. My shaky hand reaches my fore head and comes back covered in blood.
I don’t know why, but I start to scream. A high pitched, migraine worthy scream. I see the sudden flame start at the trunk of the car, and how it dances its way onto my leg. I start flailing about on the hard ground, screaming for someone, something, to stop it.
Suddenly, I remember the fact of how I may be pregnant. I can’t let this baby die! But there’s nothing I can do, so I just twitch on the ground hopelessly, hoping everything will turn out right. The blaring horns and sirens finally reach us, and just as I hear multiple crashing feet run towards me, the black smoke fills my lungs, now letting the dark world of sleep take over my body.
Okay, so I know it’s super, super, super, super, short! Lol but it’s just because it’s a filler. I didin’t want to rush things, so logically, I put in a car crash. YAY! Anyway, hope you enjoyed and if you really liked it please vote!
