"Mira. You need to wake up."
"But why Master?" I yawned.
"The Seppies are here."
"What?" I say up, wide awake. I quickly grasped my lightsaber so tight that my knuckles turned white.
"We saw a droid out there that fired at us. We're heading to the village to see if they need help. The rest of the others are packing up as we speak."
I nodded and got up, starting to roll my pack up. I quickly got all my stuff away and was ready to go when everyone else was.
We quickly marched towards the village we were heading in, but found it empty and burning.
"They were already here..." My master looked down, upset. "We could've stopped this."
"Aslan, there's nothing we could've done." 141 put his hand on his shoulder. "We would've been taken as well. Or killed."
"Still..." Monjarby sighed. He looked around for any sign that anyone was still around but found none. "We need to hurry to the next village. Now let's move!"
I had never seen this side of Master Monjarby. So determined. Distressed. He was a happy guy, but when lives weighed on his shoulders, he seemed to break down. Needing to be a good strong leader, to save others.
"Alright men. Break off into two groups. Captain Climber. Take your team, Paint, Jewel, Arm, Terek, Two-Three and 141 with you to the village south of here. The rest of you, with me to the North Village. If you find something, com. If not, com and meet at rendezvous." He ordered.
"Yes sir." Climber nodded, and the group moved out.
My group walked two days to the North Village, to find it intact and the inhabitants alright.
"All good here Captain. What of you?" Monjarby commed Climber as I collapsed in a pile of leaves.
"Peace and quiet. Must be a false alarm."
"I sure h...."
"ASLAN!!!" Wurth and Andros shouted, before Andros was shot in the head by a droid.
The rest of the clones quickly put on their helmets and fired back at the Seppies. Wurth taking down most of them.
"Mira, come on!" Master Monjarby and I ran forward in front of the group and began to deflect the bolts back to the advancing army.
The villagers screamed and ran, grabbing their children or their large animals which they rode on, escaping into the forest.
I blocked the blasts with the technique that my Master had been teaching me.
For five minutes, no blasts hit me, and the foot soldiers were dead. Then the destroyers rolled out.
The first blast I blocked hit the shield, then bounced back to me faster and my eyes widened as it hit the back of my shoulder and I cried out in pain.
Wivern rolled a bomb under the droid as I crumbled to the ground, holding my shoulder as the pain worsened. Tears streaming down my face.
"Mira. Breathe. Breathe." Monjarby whispered and gently applied pressure, making me scream in pain.
I had never felt pain like this.
He held me till it dimmed, and protected me till I could stand and defend myself.
Stumbling around as I blocked, I didn't use my left arm and only used one blade as I fought.
Once all droids were deactivated, I collapsed to the ground, but Llic caught me before I could pass out.
"Kid? Stay awake. Green Thumb and I will get plants to make a cream to help. Just stay awake or otherwise it'll hurt more." He gently handed me over to Monjarby and ran into the forest, grabbing plants.
"First burns always hurt don't they." Monjarby chuckled slightly as the two returned, grinding the plants into a paste.
As Monjarby held me, Llic gently peeled away my surprisingly in damages cloak, to reveal my shoulder and the clothes around it blood soaked.
He gently cut the wet fabric away and applied the paste, making me scream and thrash, since it made the wound burn cold.
Once it was bandaged, they gave me a drink of water, and we heard clomping of the giant animal feet.
On guard, we watched as some of the villagers returned.
"Thank you. You saved our village. How can we help you?" They asked Monjarby.
"Help my padawan and men. Please."
The village elder nodded and brought out the medic.
They had me lay on a cot and the medicine was applied every few hours till the pain was gone, which took two days.
We had lost Andros and 109 in the fire fight, and Zhaf to his wounds being too bad to heal.
By the time group two arrived at our location, I was helping the villagers set up a guard system.
A few men were training, and my master and I were walking.
"How you feeling Mi?"
"Better, thanks Master."
"You gave us quite a scare."
"And I got quite a scar. " I gently rubbed my left shoulder.
"Don't worry. I think it looks cool." He chuckled.
I chuckled before screaming as one of the blasts hit the ground too close to me, making me jump back. I landed in a puddle a few inches deep from last night's rain, and felt the mud slowly pull me in.
I panicked and screamed, not knowing how to swim, and scrambled from the puddle, sopping wet, and clung to my master's leg, shaking.
He started laughing. "It's just a puddle! A few inches deep!"
I didn't reply, nor let go for the rest of the day. He had to walk around with me clinging to his leg.
After two weeks of being on Swoth, the people finally made peace, and our mission was done, since they were also able to protect themselves from the droids.
Time to go home.
