Naboo was gorgeous. It was surprisingly calm as well.
"Where are all the people?"
" They are in the courtyard of the palace. The current senator had an announcement to make for the queen, who is ill." Anoles explained.
"Is that where we going?"
"No. We are going to go meet an old friend of mine." She lead the way to a small house before knocking. The door opened, and we walked in. "Jill, where are you?" She shouted.
"Anoles? Is that you?" A white haired woman with bug eyes walked out from a doorway.
"I need your help old friend. Can you tell my friend Mira about her future?" Anoles shoved me forward.
"Wait, what?" I asked, startled.
"Jill here is a very talented fortune teller. She does need to see your hand."
"And that large burn scar on your shoulder." Jill added, getting Anoles to give me a confused look. "You're injured?"
"About a month ago. It's almost healed." I shrugged.
Anoles shooed away the men to go buy supplies and took me to a back room with Jill. It was almost entirely dark. They both had me kneel down, and Jill took my palm.
"You're a Jedi, aren't you?" She asked, before moving her fingers over it.
I nodded and gulped.
"So, Force-sensitive. I'll have to be careful."
"Why?" I asked.
"Tellers read souls, the lifeblood of a being. The force is part of that. Now be quiet."
Her fingers tickled the lines on my hands.
"You have a long life line, and your marriage line is short. But it's strange. You have two marriage lines and the second is much larger. Your happiness will be much, but you will also have lots upsetting moments. If you let those moments get to you, you'll go to the dark side. So you need to be careful."
I nodded and took my hand away.
"I'm going to see what I can do about that burn, or it's going to cause you much pain in the future." Jill told me.
I walked out of the house and went back to the ship with Anoles. She let Jill stab needles into my shoulder until it was numb and now my good arm was stiff. Doubt I'd be any help if we ran into trouble.
As we neared the ship, we ran into the boys.
They seemed to be hiding.
"What's up?" I asked, making all of them jump.
"Uh. N-nothing much." Z replied. "We were just watching some stormtroopers."
"But did you guys get any supplies at all?" Anoles asked.
"Almost everything. Just missing the last few items." Wen replied, looking at the list.
"Mira and I will get them. You guys head back to the ship." She took the list from him, helped Gor pick up the boxes, and sent them away.
"What do we have left?" I asked, looking at it.
"Just some tools, and main supplies like food. Gor and Khau need different foods than us, though Khau would live upon bananas if we aren't careful." She chuckled. "We also need to get whatever you need. Clothes, supplies, anything like that. And you're definitely gonna need new clothes in order to blend."
I looked down at my sand covered tan shirt and tan pants with worn boots.
"What's wrong with them?"
"You look like you went through a war zone. Plus, you can't always wear your Jedi cloak. How often do you need to dye your hair to keep it like that?" She asked, walking up to a stand selling pinkish fruit with spines.
"I'm sorry?"
"Your hair. How often do you need to fix it to make it stay green and gold?"
"I don't dye it. It's my natural color."
She turned around, not really listening to what I had said. "We will figure it out later. Come on. Let's get you clothes."
I nodded and started following her towards a tailor shop, before seeing something move out of the corner of my eye.A tall turquoise figure walked around the corner, out of sight.
"Mira? You ok?" Anoles asked me, noticing I stopped. The old woman looked concerned.
"Yeah... Just thought I saw something. I'll be right back, don't wait for me." I ran towards the corner.
"Mira!" Anoles shouted and sighed.
I ran around the corner to see the figure go around another corner. I ran as fast as I could.
Eventually, the figure went into a forest, and I followed sneakily till next to a lake, where there was a boat house.
I took my lightsaber in my hand, but didn't power it on, and inched forward towards it.
I used the force and slammed the door open, only to see it had no one inside.
"Hello?" I asked out, walking in on guard.
I heard a splash and ran to the other side of the boat house to see a figure submerging in the water.
I sighed and bent down to it, and waited for them to reappear.
Suddenly, an arm shot up and grabbed me by my shirt, and yanked me in as I shouted in surprise.
Water filled my mouth and nose as I flailed in the water, not knowing how to swim.
The figure held me down, before his black eyes widened and he quickly brought me back to the surface.
"You're a Jedi!" He gasped, as I coughed up water.
"Yeah, what gave it away?"
"The force in you."
"Owec?" I asked in a small voice.
"Do I know you?" He tilted his head.
I took out the picture and showed him.
"Mira... It is you. You survived...."
