"The feast is ready for your welcome. If you would like to wash up before, there is a bath in the bathroom of your quarters. With some fresh clothes." Jaa and I were walking to the dining room before stopping at my room to show me where it was.
"I'll wash my hands and face." I nodded and went in. I took off my cloak and laid it on my bed, folded nicely, before heading to the bathroom
I turned on the sink and splashed water in my face, washing it, then my hands, before heading to the closet.
Inside were dresses and clothes galore, each of them fancier than the last.
"Guess I can play dress up a little." I smiled, looking in awe. "I should dress nicely."
I looked at the dresses and pulled one out, before putting it on.
The dress covered my shoulders halfway and flowed down into a simple scoop neckline. It's a comfortable fit which gives the dress a relaxed, yet graceful look. I felt as if I was wearing my cloak, which made me smile. My arms are completely uncovered. A good choice too, as my skin and the color of the dress formed a perfect combination, even with my scars. The dress' waist is thin, but it's a comfortable fit. A golden bow has been wrapped around me and rests gently on my lower back. Below the waist the dress widens and has a draped style from top to bottom. The dress reaches all the way down to the ground and is slightly longer at the front.
I hook my saber to the bow's belt, and gently brush my hair to get rid of knots.
I looked at the necklace that bore my name when I was but a small baby, the one that Master Yoda had read to give me my name.
I took the small fabric chain and took one of the leather-like chains from the jewelry box and weaved it through, before putting it on.
I looked at my uneven hair in the mirror, and reached for a pair of scissors. I trimmed them so they were even on both sides, then pulled it back into a high bun, wrapping my old padawan braid around the base of it.
Smiling softly at how amazing I made myself look, which was nothing I have ever done before, I head out to the dining room.
When I walked in, I saw Jaa talking to Sil and a woman, as Sil held a small boy in his arms maybe three years old. Achi was talking with two men, one with orange hair and another with red, who both bore the same mark on their foreheads, which made me assume they were siblings or at least family.
Wen and Anoles were speaking with Prosh and Affe, both who looked a bit more at ease with other guards around, possibly off duty.
I looked for Gor and Z, finding them petting a very fluffy but massive creature as a bird that I had seen outside on the way to Yabi's and Mercula's house fluttered above them.
I headed over to them.
"Hey Mi, the... " Z looked up from petting the animal and froze, his eyes widening as he was unable to make another word.
"Hey Z. Hey Gor." I gently smiled.
Gor chortled.
"Thanks. It was not easy." I giggled.
"Wow... Mi... You look amazing... And you don't even look like yourself." Z mumbled at last.
"Thanks Z." I smiled. "Thought I might play dress up for once. And dress up in something nice."
"Still." He smiled.
I bent down to pet the creature. "So who's this fluffy guy?"
"This is Dubl. He's Sag's pet Jeckruci." Z nodded over to the man with the red hair who was laughing with Achi and the other man.
"Well, hello Dubl." I smiled and pet him behind his ears.
The black dog-like animal purred like a cat, and was about the size of a rock-lion from Zaloriis. He had a y-shaped cream colored bone that extended from his muzzle before splitting in the middle of the stop, and created the straight y-shape. Its tail held a yellow gem to match its eyes, it oddly cut, similar to a kyber crystal fresh out of a crystal cave.
Dubl licked my face. I laughed lightly, smiling.
"Ah, you must be Mira." A silvery haired woman that I had seen talking with Jaa and Sil made her way over to me. "I am Cercia Sol."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." I curtsied.
"Oh, please! Don't bow. I'm not royalty. Sil is just my husband." She smiled.
"Maarummaarum!" The little boy ran over and hugged her leg, looking scared at Gor and how big he was. He hid his face and whimpered.
Gor chortled softly and sat down.
The boy looked as Gor gently pet Dubl, before he snuck over and pet Gor.
"This is my son, Nighsten Sol." Cercia smiled as the bronze haired boy giggled from Gor's fur.
"He is adorable." I smiled, watching them. There was the ringing of a utensil against a glass.
"Family. Friends. Dinner is served." Jaa smiled.I walked around the table, before finding my place card next to Aslan and on the other side of Achi.
Gor was seated at the end on a stump of a tree that had been carved into a chair his size, with Greenie beeping next to him.Anoles sat in a nice dress, smiling proudly at me from across the table. Wen sat next to Achi's brothers, and Z was holding Khau on his lap a few seats away.
Waiters came out with platters of food in glass covers and put them on the table before removing the covers all at once.
I looked at the food in awe. They all looked delicious, the excotic foods from fruit and veggies to meats and fish.
"Save some room for dessert." Aslan leaned over and whispered to me, winking.
Gor was given a special platter for himself with some type of raw meat, as he chortled happily.
I smiled and gently took some food as the Harmonians did.
After a few minutes if eating, Jaa stood up and tapped her glass of some bubbly champagne-like drink with her spork, getting our attention with the ringing. "I would like to thank you all for coming. Today we have a few things to celebrate. First, I would like to thank our waiters and chefs for the fabulous food, as always." She smiled towards the head chef and waiter, both who bowed.
"Next, I would like to celebrate new friends." She looked towards everyone at the table. "The Rainstorm crew who came here from the outside of the system, returning our lost child, Mira Moors."
I looked at her, as she motioned for me to stand up. I did, thankful that I had worn the flat shoes in there, otherwise I might have fallen.
I did a small bow, before sitting down.
"Now please, enjoy the food." She smiled and seated back down.
We continued eating, there being small talk.
"So, Mira, you were raised as a jedi, like Aslan?" Di, Achi's older brother who was nearly as tall as me, but a bit heavier, asked me as he took a bite from a piece of grilled meat.
"Yes, I was." I nodded, and took a sip of water. I swallowed before putting the glass down. "Since I was able to walk."
"So you believe in the violence that follows. The war." He glared, not trusting me or anyone else.
"Deire!" Achi exclaimed and scolded her older brother in Harmonian.
"Don't feel bad about him Mira. He still isn't trusting me after this many years." Aslan nudged me and whispered.
I nodded.
"Oh look! Dessert!" He perked up and took a delicate looking cake with frozen milk flavored with the Heart Berries of Harmonia.
I took one as well and took a bite, as it melted in my mouth.
"This is amazing!" I purred and ate more, letting my guard down as I relaxed.
Up above Harmonia, behind the moon silver of Ackaliath, a pair of Empire Star destroyers exited Hyperspace, undetected by the Harmonians below.
