Z and Wen shakily helped me up as we stood the cell with Yuuki and Malachi, the glowing electric bars humming ever so slightly as the ringing in my head stopping at last.

"Mi, you ok?" Z asked worried, and supported me.

"I am fine. My head is just throbbing a bit...." I looked at the cuffs that dampened my use of the Force. "Is everyone else ok?"

"Yeah, Malachi and I are good." Yuuki nodded.

We faintly heard blaster fire and assumed the others were fighting back.

"If we get these cuffs off you, do you think you get us out?" Wen asked.

"No. The look of the locks tell me otherwise." I sighed.

"I can try." Yuuki reached under his cuffs on his wrists and slipped out a piece of wire. "This is going to be dangerous."

"I wouldn't do that." A woman spoke.

But no one was there.

Malachi took the wire and reached out between the bars. She put in the small key card slot.

"Malachi what are you doing?" Yuuki asked.

"Saving your butts." She mumbled.

"Wait did you just talk?!"

"Yes I did." Malachi sighed and stood up straight, facing us, as Yuuki looked unsettled.

"You... Lied to us? For all these years?"

"Yes. I am sorry. I had no choice." She went back to picking the locks.

"What do you mean? You always have a choice! Malachi what is going on?!"

"This is my fault. All my fault. None of us should be here. I am sorry." She mumbled.

Yuuki grabbed his teammate and pulled her back. "Malachi. What? Is? Going? On?"

Malachi sighed. "They have my brother."

"Your brother? You never mentioned anything about a brother."

"I have a little brother. His name is Ulduzlu. The Empire had him for years. They agreed to give him back if I handed over another rebel crew or a Jedi..." She looked down ashamed. "I know it was wrong, but... I can't lose my brother. He is all I have left of my biological family. Of my past."

"Mal, why didn't you tell us of this before?" Yuuki asked sadly.

"I couldn't. It was part of bargain to get my brother back."

"Still, you could have told somehow."

"Come on guys, let's get out of here." Wen whispered to me and Z while picking the locks to my cuffs. "Z, see if you can get the lock picked open."

"I can do better than that." He smirked and held up the lightsaber that he had been learning to use. He had concealed it so well that it was not confiscated.

"Z you brilliant bastard." Wen grinned.

"Mira, let's get you out of those cuffs."

I held out my wrists and he powered it on, slicing it down the middle, them disabling and falling to the ground. "Hold onto it Z. We should find the other weapons and go help the others."

"But you're better at using lightsabers than me. You are the one teaching me!"

"I can use the Force now as long as that emitter does not power back on. You should only show it when needed. Now come on." I disabled the lock and hurried out.
