Chapter 3

*Gwen's P.O.V.*

"What, I don't know what your talking about. Where'd you get that from?" I played dumb. "Me and August were looking for you in your house and we went upstairs and I found this and I thought it wouldn't matter because it looked so old and a read some of the stuff and found that." Calum said. I glared at him and took the book and read that whole page to myself. "No one, and I mean no one will find out until the next group get together that we usually have every 2 years." I said. "I won't say anything... But do you still like him?" He questioned me. I looked down and pushed my feet together. "I... I don't know, I really never knew" I stuttered. He awed me and we walked back to Luke's house. The next get together was tomorrow. I'm so stupid I should of said something like spring break.

*Luke's P.O.V.*

It was 1:00 and I was on my way to go get Erin. Got I'm so nervous my hands are sweaty. Since we couldn't go out for dinner I'm taking her to the Boardwalk to have some fun. I drove up in front of her house and she came out. Damn. I blinked my eyes. Her hair was pin straight she was wearing black high waisted shorts and a green day crop top. She looked amazing. "Hi" She smiled. "Hi. You look amazing." I said feeling my cheeks get warm. "Thank you." She said blushing. "So tell me Mr. Hemmings, where we going?" She smiled. "Boardwalk." I smiled. She clapped in excitement, "Lets go." She said.

We arrived at the boardwalk as soon as we got on she grabbed my hand and pulled me to a game. "Lets go me vs you right now right here." She laughed. "Its on."

Balloons and Darts, I'm amazing at this game. *POP POP POP POP POP POP* 6 balloons down only 4 more to 10 and I win. She hit 5 balloons. She glared at me and laughed. *POP POP POP* She now has 6 down and I didn't shoot any of mine. *POP POP POP POP* All 10 popped, that meaning I won. She threw her last darts she had at the balloons and looked at me pouted and crossed her arms. I looked at her and smiled, "which one do you want." I asked. She smiled and "Penguin please." The guy handed her the penguin and we walked away.

"Thanks for the cute penguin." She smiled and she held my hand. "Well I won it for a cute girl so it was worth it." I smiled. "What's the next game I get to beat you at?" I said laughing. "Lets see..." She led me to the arcade. "Skee-ball?" She asked. I nodded and we rushed to skee-ball. Who ever gets the highest score wins.

Well Erin won that. "Look who's the winner now." She said while we walk out the arcade. "Yea yea yea whatever." I pouted. We walked to the concession stand. "What do you want Mr. Hemmings." She asked me. I nodded no, "Nothing don't spend ur money on me." "But I want too since you won me the penguin." I nodded no again, "Fine then you wanna share a funnel cake?" "Sure." I said smiling. We sat down on the bench and watched the waves as we ate funnel cake.

"You ain't bad at skee-ball Hemmings just not as good as me." She winked and laughed. "Yea yea well I'm good at darts unlike someone I know." I turned my head and smiled. She laughed. Her laugh... music to my ears.

4 hours went by quick. We walked on the beach, played more games, and had lunch at Johnny's Bar & Grill. I drove her home before she got out of the car I asked, "Second date?" "Of course, I had really fun today text or call me when your free for the second." She winked and smiled, "okay." I smiled and watched her go inside then drove home.

*Gwen's P.O.V.*

Calum and I walked into the house to see everyone sitting on the couch watching TV. "I'm guessing Luke went on his date." I said. "Yup we've been here waiting for you guys and now him to get home so we could watch our movies." Ashton said. "Speaking of Luke," Calum smirked I turned and punched his arm, "Shut up." "Ow ow okay sorry." He said rubbing his arm. "Um what was that about?" Michael raised his eyebrow. Everyone was looking at me, "Yea what was it about, Gwen." Calum opened his mouth again. I punch Calum in the arm again, "Nothing." "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! BITCH." Calum yelled. "Well if you would just keep your mouth closed I wouldn't be punching you." I smiled like a devil, he looked at me and cringed his nose and sat down on the floor, I followed.

A couple minutes after Luke walked in, he had a huge smile on his face. "How was your date Luke?!" Elisabeth said with excitement. "It was amazing. I took her to the boardwalk and I won her a penguin.." He said but then Ashton interrupted. "Of course a penguin." Then Luke continued, "We ate at Johnny's Bar & Grill and a second date is in the process." He said blushing. I've never seen Luke so red in his whole life, he looked like a watermelon! "I'm glad you had a great time Lucas." I smiled, "Don't call me Lucas." He pouted and sat next to me. "Movie time!!!!!! Plus food!!." Michael said clapping the two movies in his hands. "I'll make the popcorn." "I'll put in the movies."

I got up and went into the kitchen. I got the bag of popcorn and put into the microwave. *pop pop pop pop* I was on my phone until Calum came in. He was standing there with his arms crossed, "He's home tell him now, tell them now." He said, "Calum no we agreed on tomorrow." I said grabbing the popcorn and putting it into the bowl. He raised his eyebrow, "Okay I'll tell him now since I have no patience waiting and I can't keep secrets from them for long, I'm bad at keeping secrets period." He walked out. I left the popcorn on the counter and ran, "Gwen has been keeping a secret from you guys, she likes..." I jumped on his back and we both went down on the ground. "SHUT UP SHUT UP ASIAN!" I fought, "I'M NOT ASIAN! AND YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM TOMORROW SO WHY DOES IT MATTER IF YOU TELL THEM NOW." He argued back, "BECAUSE I'M NOT READY TO TELL THEM YET, OKAY!" I yelled. "YOOOOOOOOOO!!" August yelled, We stopped fighting and I got off of him. "We're right here god damn." August continued.

"Now what do you have to tell us since Calum almost half way said it already." Luke said. I looked at them and then I looked at Calum I rolled my eyes and he motioned his hands to talk.

I wasn't ready to tell them. And with Luke here too, its too early. I don't even have feelings for Luke... that I know of. I doze out. Ugh what am I gonna do, this is all Calum's big mouths fault. I motioned my hands to Calum so he gave me the diary. "Hey we found the diary today at your house." August said. I gave her an annoyed smile.

I opened up the page and turned it around on the coffee table, they all leaned in. I closed my eyes and breathed. I put my fingers on the sentence.
