Not So Best Friends

Chapter 23

     *Gwen's P.O.V.*

   It's been two days. In those two days Luke and I have gotten back to our relationship like us being in a normal relationship, everyone is getting attention. Which is good, which is really good. I just still have a problem. In those two days Calum been acting weird with me. I don't know what's wrong with him I've been trying to talk to him but he would make it quick and then say he has to go somewhere or do something. And when I text him he barely texts me back.

   We are currently in New Jersey for the guys Homdel Concert. I'm laying on top of Luke on the couch and we're just listening to music while I play with his fingers. Michael and Elisabeth were on the other couch watching a movie. Ashton walked in and sat in front of me and Luke on the floor. "Yes?" Luke looked down at Michael and raised his eyebrows. "I'm boredddddddd." He whined. I giggled. "Go on a walk." I kept giggling. "I've been waiting for Calum to get done getting ready." He groaned and rolled his eyes.

   Then Calum walked in, we made eye contact but he quickly looked away. "Hey Cal-" I said getting cut off by him. "Hurry up let's go." He said annoyed. Ashton got up and ran up to Calum. "I'm ready I'm ready." Ashton jumped. Calum looked at me one more time but he gave me like a mean annoyed look. It left me questioning. What did I do in the last two days too him? I couldn't have done anything we barely talked in the last two days!!

   "UM WAIT!" I jumped up quickly and ran to Calum. He stood there looking at me like 'what the hell are you doing.'

   "What?" He said harshly. Well damn attitude much. "First off don't give me a damn attitude when I've done nothing to you. Second off your ignoring me and we haven't had a full conversation in two days, and your acting like I've done something wrong. What did I do wrong too you?" I said.
He just looked at me for a second.

   "You did nothing wrong i'll explain to you later." He sighed. I nodded and Ashton and Cal waved goodbye to us. I laid back down on Luke and he wrapped his arms around me. He kissed the top of my head and whispered in my right ear.

   "Everything will be okay. He told you he will explain later. Give him time."

     *Soundcheck*

    *Luke's P.O.V.*

   "What so should we practice too??" I said tuning my guitar. "I. Don't. Know." Michale split his words.
"Let's do Voodoo doll." Calum insisted. He looked more down then he was before when Gwen Confronted him. We nodded and agreed to do that song.

   We sang voodoo and start tuning our guitars more. Elisabeth and Gwen walked on stage with drinks for us. Elisabeth gave a drink to Ashton and Michael. Gwen gave a drink to Me and Calum.

   "Thank you babe." I smiled and pecked her lips. "Anytime my prince." She smiled back. Everyone's eyes went to Calum quickly. He dropped his drink in the garbage can and it made it echo. "What the hell I thought you would be thirsty after singing." Gwen groaned and rolled her eyes. "Sorry that I wasn't." He said shrugging. "Well you could of saved it for later." She said. "I said sorry god damn it's just a frickin drink!" He said stomping off the stage. Okay what the F**** is his problem.

     *2 hours before the concert*

     *Calum's P.O.V.*

   I don't mean to be ignoring Gwen or being rude to her. I like her a little and it's turning into a lot. I don't want to make anything awkward and I don't want to do anything that will ruin me and her friendship and of course me and Luke's friendships.

   I didn't want my feelings to grow stronger for her so that's why I've been mean to her and ignoring her. Which I really shouldn't, I feel horrible for doing it. That's why I'm going to explain to her after the concert.
