Chapter 33

*Luke's P.O.V.*

I sat outside eating my breakfast in silence. "Dude what was that?" Ashton sat down on the other side of the table. There goes the silence. "Nothing." I sighed nodding. "Well it was something." I could feel him staring me down while I look down at my plate eating. "You acted like you hated her. You guys were perfectly fine yesterday." He continued. "Well yesterday was yesterday." I snapped. "Okay okay." He said. I nodded and groaned. I got up and walked back into the house.

I threw out my plate and ran upstairs. I tried to walk into my room but it was locked. How the hell is my room locked. I kept trying to open it, thinking it was jammed. Then it opened. "What the-" I stood there stupidly. "Hey." Gwen whispered. "Why were you in my room." I asked awkwardly. "Well you wouldn't let me talk to you this morning or let me in your room this morning so I thought it should be the opposite." She shrugged.

I walked into my room and heard the door close. I sat on my bed and she stood in front of me. "Please Luke understand I need more time to think. I don't want you to hate me." She started walking out the room. I got up and stopped her from walking. "I don't hate you. I get you need more time to think. I'm sorry for overreacting earlier. It was a mistake, what happened earlier. Just forget about it, okay? Our life will be easy if we just forgot about what happened earlier." I told her. She nodded, "Oh... Okay."

*Gwen's P.O.V.*

"I don't hate you. I get you need more time to think. I'm sorry for overreacting earlier. It was a mistake, what happened earlier. Just forget about it, okay? Our life will be easy if we just forgot about what happened earlier." Luke stated. Good thing was that he didn't hate me. Bad thing is that I didn't really want to forget what happened earlier this morning. I want to wait and think but I don't want to forget what happened. Ugh feelings!!

"Oh... Okay." I nodded. I hope I didn't sound sad, I didn't want to start anything else. I opened his bedroom door and left him standing in his room. I sighed and walked downstairs. I walked into the living and sat down on the couch. I turned on my phone and scrolled through twitter and Instagram. I posted a picture of me, Elisabeth, and Jackie. I love my best friends. I honestly don't know what I would do without them. If I haven't known them my whole life I wonder how I would be living my life. That scares me.

"GUYSSS!!! COME HERE!" I heard Calum yell through out the house. I followed the loud voices to the kitchen. Everyone was standing there confused. "You have to yell, I have a headache." August groaned. "Yea same." Jackie stated. "Jackie you were just screaming before." Calum brought up. "Yea because you touched my food." She rolled her eyes. "Anywayssss." Calum continued to talk, "We should go out to eat tonight." "Where?" Michael asked. Calum looked at Luke and suddenly Luke's face lit up and he opened his mouth. "The Nice Guy." He sounded excited. "Never been there." I said looking at the girls. "Same." Elisabeth stated. Jackie and August agreed. "It's my favorite place to go eat." Luke stated. "Where did you find this place and when did you guys go here?" I chuckled. "Remember when all of the guys and I went over spring break on a vacation last year and you guys couldn't join us because you guys didn't have that much money too come with and you guys had homework still." He threw in hand gestures. We nodded. "Well we came to Los Angeles and found this place." He said smiling. "Oh okay. I'll go." I chuckled. "All of you better be ready by 8 we're leaving then." Ashton said being all serious. "Oooo is Ashton being serious. It's been a while since Ashy was serious." I said in a baby voice making fun of him. Everyone started laughing. "Shut up." He chuckled. I laughed and ran back up to the room. "I'll see you guys at 8 I'm taking a nap." I yelled running up the stairs.

I jumped onto my bed and laid on my back. I stared at the ceiling and closed my eyes. Nap time!

*7:00pm*

"Gwen. Gwen wake up. Gwen you have to start getting ready." I felt someone talking and shaking me. I groaned. "What time is it." I whispered. "7." The voice said. "Five more minutessssss." I whined and turned onto my side. "No. Gwen five more minutes for you is like a whole day." The deep voice stated. I rolled back on my back and rubbed my eyes. I opened them to see Calum. "There are your beautiful eyes." He chuckled and got up from the bed. I pushed myself, now leaning on the wall. "Can't we leave at 9." I pouted. I crossed my arms pushing out my lip. "No. It will get crowded. Now hurry. The girls already got ready and stop pouting you aren't 5." He laughed. "Fiveeeeee more minutes." I whined. He nodded and walked out the room closing my door. I got up and groaned.

I looked in the girls closet. There were no clothes except one thing hanging that was covered. I took the hanging and laid the mysterious thing on my bed. It had my name on it so obviously it was for me. I unzipped it. It was an Elegant Navy Blue short dress. Laying on the dress was a tiny note. "Look outside your bedroom door." I left the dress laying on my bed and opened the door. I looked down to see Blue Navy High heels. I picked up the shoes and another note fell from inside the shoe. I bent down and picked up the note. What is this a scavenger hunt? I like it so its okay.

"When done getting dressed, there are surprises in the bathroom downstairs." I smiled. Lets get ready.

I put on the dress and sat on my bed putting my high heels on. I get up from my bed and fall back down onto it. I'm bad at walking in high heels. I balance myself up and start to walk. I almost fell twice and I didn't even make it to the door. I walked slowly down the hall to the stairs. Oh Great. I saw Calum come out of the bathroom. "Phstttttttt." He snapped his head around and looked at me. "Come here." I whispered. He started walking slowly to me. "Yes?" He laughed. "Can you carry me down the stairs please?" I said with puffing my lip out. "What you don't know how to walk down stairs." He sarcastically announced. "I do know how to walk down stairs." I glared at him. "I just can't do it with heels. You know how I am when I walk in heels." I continued. "Yea true. Fine." He picked me bridal way and carried me down the stairs. He put me down gently. "There you go that will be $100 please." He put out his hand. I smacked it and smirked, "In your dreams buddy." He rolled his eyes and walked back upstairs. I walked towards the bathroom and turned the handle.

Jackie and Elisabeth were standing there waiting. They looked up from their phones. "Good your here." Jackie said. "Are you my surprises?" I laughed. They both nodded and smiled. "You guys look amazing." I complimented both the girls. They said thank you and sat me down on a stool. "We're doing your hair and make up. Since you take forever." Elisabeth spoke. "I do not take forever." I argued laughing. "Uhh yes you do." Jackie laughed. I rolled my eyes smiling. Jackie was doing my make up and Elisabeth was doing my hair.

*30 minutes later*

Jackie gave me a mirror and I looked at my eyes and my lips. My eyes were an ombre blue with eyeliner and a wicked wing. My eyelashes were curled perfectly and she put red a peachy lip stick on my lips. My lips were a matte peach. I really love my make up. She's so good. "Thank you! I love it." I clapped with excitement. "Your amazing Jacklyn." I continued. "Thank you." She smiled.

"I'm almost done. Just let me put two bobby pins and then I'm finished." Elisabeth said. She seemed so focus. I felt the bobby pins go into my head. "Okayyyyy done!" She back away and gave me back the mirror. My hair was up and curly and it was just stunning. She took a picture of the back and it was like a messy bun with braids. It was absolutely amazing. "I love it!" I squealed. I got up and hugged both of them. I held on to them for a little longer trying to catch my balance.

The three of us walked out of the bathroom and I followed them out the front door. Everyone was waiting by the car. "We're ready." Elisabeth said. The girls moved aside and I moved forward next to them. Calum and Ashton's mouth sprung open. August mouthed, "You looked beautiful" I mouthed back, "Thank you." Michael and Luke were talking and then Michael turned his head and saw us standing there. He looked at all of us shocked. He elbowed Luke and Luke turned his head. His eye's fell to me first and he didn't take them off. Elisabeth walked to Michael and Jackie walked toward Ash, Cal, and August.

I walked towards Luke. "You look... incredible." He said looking down at me surprised. "Thank you Luke." I blushed. "Okay lets get going. Into the car everyone." Michael said clapping his hands together. Luke opened the door for me. "Thank you." I smiled. He nodded and I went in and sat down. He followed behind and sat next time me. Calum was sitting next to Luke. Michael was driving and Elisabeth was in the front. Jackie, Ashton, and August were driving in a separate car.

"Let's get this night started!" Calum roared.
