Not So Best Friends

Chapter 36

     *Gwen's P.O.V.*

    *3 days later*

   Tomorrow was our last day in Los Angeles and then we go back to Australia.I didn't want to leave Luke.  To be honest I was really scared. I didn't want anything else to happen. I mean I should try to trust him. I mean we're going to be with each other again in like two days but a lot can happen in two days while were apart.

   Luke and I are snuggle up against each other on the couch watching a Christmas movie. "That would be me." I pointed to the screen where a little girl fell. He chuckled and I smiled. "I don't want you to leave me in two days." He whispered. "I don't want to leave either but we'll see each other back in Sydney in two days, you finish you tour in Sydney and then we'll be in school together. Then soon we'll be graduating." I said kissing his cheek. He hugged me and I held onto his arm.

   I fell asleep in his arms then woke up to hear a sudden bang. I jumped up onto my feet, looking down at the couch. "Where the f*** did Luke go?" I swore under my breath. "Just don't move." I heard someone whisper. I tip toed down the hall to the kitchen and stopped to see glass everywhere and almost everyone surrounding it. "What the hell is going?" I chuckled. "This isn't funny!" Michael yelled trying not to laugh. "Michael shut up your trying so hard to not laugh." Luke laughed. "Okay can we just start to clean this up." August said. They nodded. We all cleaned. I walked over to Luke and fell in pain. I closed my eyes and opened them, now looking up at the ceiling. I sit up and try to move my left foot but there is a sharp pain and I shriek in pain. Luke and Calum came by me and picked me up. I looked at my foot while they were carrying me and saw blood a piece of glass. I started to cry and gag. They laid me back down onto the couch and they put a towel under my foot. Jackie came and sat on her knees, Elisabeth brought me a garbage can because I felt like I was going to throw up. I can't look at blood without gagging.

   Jackie slowly pulled out the piece of glass and I cried in pain. Luke was next to me talking me to get distracted. Jackie got a bandage and patched the cut up. She put ice around my foot and taped it around. I moved my head over a bit into the garbage can and threw up a little. Luke got me medicine to take and it made me a little drowsy. "Close your eyes baby girl and take another nap." Luke whispered kissing my forehead. I nodded and closed my eyes once again.

     *10 hours later*

   I woke up in my bed all bundled up in my blanket and surrounded by pillows. I didn't want to move I was so comfortable and warm. I just kept my eyes open and looked at the window. I heard the bedroom door open. I moved to the other side to see Elisabeth laying on her stomach on the bed. She turned her head and laid it onto her arm. "Good night." She yawned and closed her eyes. "Night." I giggled. I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling. I heard my phone on night stand and stretched my phone to get it.

(Text Message)

From Luke: I didn't want to disturb you because you were sleeping. So goodnight my princess if you need anything just wake me up. <3

To Luke: I love you goodnight.

   I smiled and closed my eyes. Well today was a fast day.

     *Afternoon*

   "I hate packing!" Erin groaned. I rolled my eyes and put all my clothes back into my suit case. "I know Erin but we'll see everyone in another two days." I tried to make everything bad. "Two days is longggg." She whined. I snapped my head at her, "you are acting like a five year old holy sh*t!" I laughed. She laughed.

   "Everyone's out for lunch and we are here packing. Do you know when they are coming back?" She asked me. I shrugged. "Maybe later." I responded. "We should go out and walk around and shop for our last day and take pictures." She considered. I nodded, "We should." We quickly packed everything and got into an outfit. "Where you want to go first?" She sat in front of the wheel. "Let's go to the groove. It's like a huge shopping place." I said. She pulled out of our parking spot by the curb and I helped her find her way.

   We parked in a parking lot and started walking. "SEPHORA!" Erin dragged me into the make up store and stored touching everything. Mrs touchy touchy! Like girl calm yourself we just got here!! But anyways, I ran over to the eyeshadows first. Then worked my way over to the lip stick and then to the eyeliner. I walked out with a big Sephora bag and half my money gone.

   We walked into coach and Erin got herself a new purse and I got a new wallet. I love to read so I took Erin into Barnes and Nobles and bought 5 new books.

     *after an hour of shopping*

   "Good shopping day for a last day." I said smiling. "Definitely." She agreed. "It's 5 o'clock." Erin checked her phone. We stopped and checked our phones. I had two texts messages from Luke.

(Text message)
To Luke: hey are u guys home

From Luke: we are home where are you guys?

To Luke: we went out shopping. We are going to go out to eat for dinner. Erin and I decided to do this for our last day. We'll be home around 8:30.

From Luke: okay. I'll miss you. Can't wait to spend the rest of the night with my love.

   I smiled.

To Luke: me either :) love you

From Luke: love you too have fun baby girl

   I smiled once again.

   "Let's go get some dinner!" I said with excitement. We dropped our bags back in the car and drove around looking for a place to eat.

    *2 hours later*

   We finished dinner and drove back to the guys house. We walked into the house with every single light in the house off. We tip toed up the stairs and into our room. Elisabeth was laying on her bed on her phone. She looked to the side and smiled. "Welcome back home." She said. She looked back at her phone. I changed into my Pajamas and grabbed my phone. "Goodnight."I whispered. "Where are you going?" She whispered back. "To lay with Luke." I said. "Oh oh goodnight." She smirked. I nodded my hair and smiled.

   I walked to the end of the hallway and gently and slowly opened the bedroom door. Calum was sleeping and Ashton looked up from his phone. Luke was laying on his side it was hard to see if he was sleeping or not. I looked at Ashton and he smiled and whispered he was asleep. I crawled on the empty side of the bed and got comfortable. I rolled onto my side and closed my eyes. The bed started to move and my eyes shot opened. I felt an arm wrap around me and a heavy breath in my neck. "Goodnight baby." Luke whispered. He kissed my neck and my stomach filled with butterflies. "Goodnight." I whispered I smiled and fell asleep in his arms.

   God two days better go fast.

*Morning*

   We were on our way to the airport and I honestly never left Luke's side in the car I was attached to him while we were getting ready I was with him. I didn't want to leave him. But hey at least we see each other again in two days. We got to the airport and Erin and I got our luggage we said goodbye to everyone.

   I jumped up and hugged Luke. He grabbed my ass and held my tight. I didn't want to let go. I saw a flash go off in the corner of my eye. "There ya go." Elisabeth said. She took a picture of me and Luke and sent it to me on my phone I smiled and said thanks. Then I went back to hugging him. I pecked his lips 5 times and then kissed him one more time but it was long. "Two days better go by fast." I said pouting. "They will. I promise. I'll miss you." He said hugging me. "I'll miss you too." I said back. We let go of each other and Erin and I started walking. "We'll see you guys in two days!" Everyone shouting. We smiled and put a thumbs up too them. After a few minutes we boarded our plane sat in our seats. I watched outside the window and felt us lift up into the air.

   I put in my headphones and turned my music on. Here's to another 15 hours on a plane. I relaxed and looked out the window.

   This trip wasn't bad after all.
