Not So Best Friends

Chapter 14

     *4 days later*

    *Ashton's P.O.V.*

    "LUKEEEEEE!!!!!!! WAKE YOUR LAZY ASS UP!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, jumping on his bed. I did all that and he still didn't wake up. This child. I ran downstairs to the basement and got a bucket. I ran back upstairs to my kitchen and filled it up with water. I like to wake people up this way sometimes.

   I slowly walked up the stairs and gently pushed the door open with my foot. Luke was still sleeping. I balanced myself up onto his bed and tipped the bucket over his head. The water poured out and next thing you know is my guest rooms bed is a water bed.

   "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKKK...KKKK...KKKK!" Luke stuttered shivering. He got up and ran into the bathroom to grab a towel. He walked back in and rolled his eyes, "Why'd you do that!" He shouted. "Well you weren't waking up to me screaming and jumping on the bed so I thought of another way of waking you up." I cracked up. "Pouring water on me?" He gave me a dirty look. I nodded and laugh.

    We quickly took the sheets off the bed and let the bed air dry for now. Luke started to get ready and so did I.

   I walked downstairs into my kitchen and spotted Hemmings eating cereal at the counter. "So today I was thinking we have a little party?" I looked at Luke and smirked a little. "We don't throw little parties, and when I mean we I mean just you." Luke laughed. "Lets throw a partyyyyyy and then we're going to take a break from parties until the release party." I smiled. "We'll have it at my house because no one will be home except for my brother and he doesn't care if we have a party... he'll join it." He said putting his bowl into the sink.

    Luke and I texted everyone in our contacts that tonight we we're having a party at his house. We texted the group and told them to meet us at Luke's house to help get things set up.

    *Gwen's P.O.V.*

    The girls and I walked to Luke's house to meet up with the guys outside. Calum and Michael showed up 2 minutes later and then Luke and Ashton showed up 2 minutes after they did. We walked into the house and started setting up the lights. I filled up the buckets and coolers full of ice while Luke filled them with beers, waters, and sodas. We nearly filled up 20 buckets and 5 coolers.

   Luke took my head and lead me to his backyard. We we're sitting on a bench snuggled against each other. "Are you ready for tonight?" Luke asked me. "I honestly don't know." I answered. "I'll be with you the whole time if that's okay." He said. "Of course it's okay." I smiled. "Good." He smiled backed.

   The bench was facing a pond so we were looking down at the pond until we heard Michael say something. "WHY DON'T YOU ASK HER TO BE YOUR GIRL OFFICIALLY?" He shouted pushed the coolers to the side. Luke gave him a death glare. And then I looked up at him. He looked down at me and we made eye contact. He quickly connected out lips and we kissed. "Gwen will you be my girlfriend." He smiled. "Yes." I giggled. We kissed again and I felt Luke smile.

   "Thank you." We heard Michael said walking back into the alley way. Me and Luke are officially Boyfriend and girlfriend. I can finally call him all mine, mine, mine, and mine. Hehe. "Your mine. Allllllll mine." I said poking the tip of his nose. He wiggled his nose, "I'm glad to call you My girlfriend now." He smirked.

    *Tonight*

   Luke and I went on a walk around the block before the party started. We walked back to his house and from two houses down we could hear the music. We walked up to the house, there were people in the front hanging. Luke greeted some people and I followed him and then we headed inside.

   Holy shit when I say it was loud I mean it was really loud. I deaf person could probably hear if they walked into Luke's house. We we're getting pushed around by people dancing. Luke quickly looked back and grabbed my hand. I gripped on tight. We found Calum and Jackie standing in an open corner drinking out of a red solo cup, talking. We went to join them. "So this party!" I shouted to Jackie. She nodded, "Very loud!" She shouted back. I nodded in agreement. Luke went to go get us drinks. A few minutes later he came back with 2 red solo cups. "Here you go!" He shouted and kissed my forehead. I heard Jackie say awe. Luke and Calum we're in their own world talking and so were me and Jackie. We looked at the guys and saw Calum lick his lips and Luke just looking. So we turned our heads to see Ashley, Brooke, and Erin walk in.

   I immediately roll my eyes and look at Luke who was already looking at me. I shrugged and took a sip out of my solo cup. "Come to the bathroom with me." Jackie screamed. She pulled my arm into the bathroom and locked the door. We could actually hear each other since we went tot he upstairs bathroom. "I want to know who the actual fuck invited them." Jackie said annoyed. "I honestly don't know. I'm going to ask Ashton if he did." I said. I unlocked the bathroom door and ran downstairs to find Ashton.

   I found Ashton drink a beer with Elisabeth and Michael. "Heyyy girl!" Elisabeth shouted slurring her words. I waved at her and then grabbed Ashton's arm and brought him outside so he can hear me.

   "You almost made me drop my bear Gwennn." He said whining. Shockingly he didn't sound drunk, good he can answer my question seriously now. "Did you invite Brooke, Ashley, and Erin." I said crossing my eyes raising an eyebrow. He almost choked on his drink, "I might have because I invited everyone in my contacts." I wanted to smack his drink out of his hand right now. I went inside and left him outside.

   Jackie was by the door waiting for me. We walked back to the open corner. I was looking down and walking and I accidentally bumped into her. "Why'd you pause?" I asked. "Don't look up because you'll get mad." She answered. When you tell me not to do something, I'm goiing to end up doing it. I look up and see that Calum and Luke were talking to Erin and Ashley. Luke looked at me and frowned once I rolled my eyes. We walked over and I stepped in front of Luke facing Erin. "Move to the other side of the room bitch." I shouted. "What you say." Erin said holding up her cup. "I said to move to the other side of the room. We don't want you over here. Get away from my boyfriend thanks." I said with an attitude and took a sip of my drink. She rolled her eyes and came up to my ear. "He's not going to be your boyfriend for long honey." She whispered into my ears and smirked grabbing Ashley's wrist and walking away.

   Luke walked up behind me and hugged me from behind. "Baby. She wont ruin anything I promise... I won't let her." He whispered into my ears. I laid my head back onto his shoulder. Calum and Jackie were laughing up a storm. I think Calum was drunk and Jackie was getting there. "Luke can you take me home? I'm getting tired and I have a headache." I whispered loudly in his ear so he could hear me. He nodded yes. We told Calum and Jackie and they actually followed us to my house. "Can we crash here tonight because honestly once I hit your couch I'll be out." Calum laughed. "Sure. if you want Jackie you can sleep on the other side of my bed." I offered Jackie. "I'll just sleep on the tiny couch." She insisted. I nodded ok and opened the house door. My mom wasn't home she was probably staying at her boyfriends house. I gave Cal and Jackie blankets and pillows.

   Luke and I went upstairs and we laid on my bed. "Stay with me tonight." I whispered to Luke. "I won't leave." He whispered back. I laid on his chest and he was stroking my hair. I slowly fell asleep. The last thing I heard was "Goodnight princess." and then I felt a kiss on my head. I mumbled goodnight and fell asleep.

   While I was sleeping I was thinking of what Erin said, "He's not going to be your boyfriend for long honey." It kept replaying in my head while I was sleeping. I was finally living in a dream, everything was perfect. I will not let her ruin my dream, I will not let her ruin anything for me.
