Not So Best Friends

Chapter 34

     *Luke's P.O.V.*

   "Table for 8 please." Calum spoke to the nicely dressed man. I couldn't look away from Gwen. My eyes kept resting on her. She looked amazingly stunning tonight.

   "Follow me." The kind lady said. As she said, we followed her to our table and settled down. "Would you like to start off with drinks?" Everyone nodded. "We'll have water for now." Michael said nodding around the table.

   Gwen was sitting next to me and whispered something in Calum's ear. I couldn't really hear since it was loud. When Gwen was done whispering in Calum's ear they both looked directly at me. I felt them watching me so I turned my head. "Yes?" I snapped. "Nothing. Don't got to be snippy." Gwen giggled. I looked at her weird and then smiled.

   "You look amazing tonight." I complimented. She giggled in my ear and her cheeks were a flesh bright red. "Thank you Luke." Her hot breath was blowing on my ear as she whispered in it. To be Honest it was actually turning me on. It was bad.

   "Um.. I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." I got up. "What if she asks for what you want?" Ashton looked back at me. "Tell her I want The Nice Guy Burger." I said, trying not to be so loud.

     *Gwen's P.O.V.*

   I whispered into Calum's ear. "You think Luke has staring problems?" I asked trying not to laugh. "Uh.. Yea he's been staring at you on and off since you got out of the house." He whispered back smirking. "I'm not that hot." I assured him. He looked me under the table to the top my head. "Um. Gwen. 50% All the guys probably had a boner looking at all the girls. You all looked damn hot." He chuckled. We stopped whispering and turned our head to Luke. He turned it towards us. "Yes?" He snapped. "Nothing. Don't got to be snippy." I giggled. Why aren't I allowed to stare and him if he always be staring at me?

   "Um.. I have to go the bathroom. I'll be right back." Luke got up and walk towards the back to the bathroom. Ashton asked what he wanted to eat and he responded wanting The Nice Guy Burger.

   I felt Calum come closer to me and his breath hot on my ear. "He went to the bathroom to go fix himself. He totally had a boner.. because of you." He chuckled lightly in my ear. I rolled my eyes and tried not to smile or laugh. All I did was nod. "You were staring at him. Down there?" I started to giggle. "It just happened to when he got up and I turned my head my eyes rested there for a few seconds." He felt embarrassed. "Gay?" I tried not to laugh. "I am not Gay. Thank you very much." He said pouting his lip. He turned his head back forward and crossed his arms. I waited a while then whispered back into his ear. "You sure?" I smirked. He glared at me and rolled his eyes. "You didn't say no." I started to laugh again. "Oh my god I'm not Gay!" He sound loudly. The whole table looked at us curious. Calum and I just started to laugh.

   Luke came back and I think the table got quieter since everyone was eating. "Your food is still hot." I warned him as he sat down. "What did you take a bite?" He coked and eyebrow. "Maybeeeee.. Just kidding. No I didn't I can steal see steam rise." I pointed out.

     *Back at the house*

   "It feels so good to not be in heels anymore!" I jumped onto my bed. "We're going down stairs to go swimming. Wanna join?" Jackie asked. "Uhh in a little." I smiled. They left the room and now It was just me. I laid my head on the pillow with my eyes closed almost falling asleep. I kept thinking about if I should give Luke a final chance. I was thinking no and yes all night. I couldn't have him wait for an answer too long. I felt my eyes close and just felt my buddy go into a deep slumber.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

   My eyes shot open and I groaned. "Come in." I whined.

   "Hey." Luke entered the room. I sat up and looked at him. "Hi."

   "You can sit on the bed, I don't care." I smiled. "Sorry for staring at you like every second of tonight. You just looked so amazing and It's been a long time since I saw you dressed up." He chuckled awkwardly scratching the back of his head. "It's fine." I giggled.

   "So... I thought about things." I trailed off. His eyes shot quickly at mine like he was demanded the answer now and right now. "Things?" He said acting confused. "Us." I stated. I crawled over to him on my knees and sat next to him. I took his hand, seems cheesy I know. I looked at him and he looked at me. "I will give 'Us' A final chance. One last chance. You mess it up we're just best friends." I demanded. He looked at me with a straight face. It was silent and awkward.

   I couldn't just sit there quiet. I got up on my knees and grabbed his face and kissed him. The sparks flew and it felt like fire flew up around my veins. Butterflies flew around my stomach and everything felt like it. I moved closer to him and he picked me up onto his lap. He place his hands on my waist and started kissing me roughly. He kissed my jawline down to my neck. I started tugging on his hair. A slight moan escaped my mouth. I felt him smile as he started to suck on my sweet spot.

   "I have a condom." He whispered onto my neck. I looked at him and he smirked. I took of his shirt and he took of my dress.

   *One Hour Later*

   Luke and I laid next to each other under the blanket naked. Thank god no one came into the room while we we're having sex... "Damn. You are so good in bed." He caught his breath. I smirked at him and snuggled into his chest.

   "Gwen. I love you to the end." He said and kissed my head. "I love you to the end too Luke." A smile jumped onto my face. "Goodnight Princess." He kissed my forehead once again. "Goodnight Prince." I closed my eyes and everything went dark.

     *Next day*

   Luke and I quickly changed into our clothes. We saw no one has slept in the beds in my room. We walked downstairs and almost everyone was down stairs eating. Calum was no one where to be seen neither was Jackie. Luke and I grabbed some bacon and waffles and sat at the dining room table with the others.

   Calum and Jacklyn came into the dining room looking like a mess. Jacklyn had this embarrass expression on, so did Calum.

   "MY BOY GOT LAID LAST NIGHT." Ashton came up behind him yelling him and rubbing the top of his head. Everyone laughed and so did they. "You guys..." They nodded. "Ohhhhhh."I smirked. "He isn't the only man in this house that got laid." Michael said smirking. "We didn't have sex." Elisabeth glared at him. "Oh I know we didn't. You can hear Gwen moan down the hall way." He smirked at me and Luke. I smacked my hand on my forehead and Luke gave Michael a high five. I looked at him and rolled my eyes while smiling. He put his arm around me and pulled me towards him and kissed my forehead.

   "So hold on." Calum said. "You guys?" We nodded. "Together." We nodded. "Again." We nodded for the last time. Everyone clapped.

   "Good. Now break my best friends heart I'm breaking your face." Erin spoke walking into the dining room. "Where were you yesterday!" I shouted hugging her. "I went shopping. I didn't feel like going out to eat." She laughed. "Bitch went shopping without me." I moaned. "Haha sorry." She sat down.

   I laid my head on Luke's shoulder while he was eating. "We should all go to the beach tomorrow." Jacklyn suggested. We all agreed. I yawn and closed my eyes on Luke's shoulder.

   I'm glad he is all mine again.

     *Luke's P.O.V.*

    I'm glad she is all mine again.
