Not So Best Friends

Chapter 22

     *Luke's P.O.V.*

   I was shocked when Gwen yelled at me then stormed out. What did I do? Why is she mad at me?

   "Did she talk to you yet?" Cal sat down next to me. "Uh no.. why?" I looked confused. He didn't answer me all he did was got up and walked out of the hotel room. Well thanks Calum for answering my question. All I could think about was why Gwen is mad at me. Where did she run off too?

   "What's wrong with you Mr. Happy." August came to sit next to me. "Did you not see what Gwen just did. She yelled at me and then stormed out. I don't know why she's mad. I don't know what I did. Now I don't even know where she ran off too. I miss her already." I rushed through my words. "Blondie breathe and calm down." She said. I started to breathe like a normal person. It's just confusing. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID!" I groaned at pulled my hair. "Jeez you know she could be on her Period." August laughed. "We'll find out when she gets back I guess because once she walks through that door, I'm talking to her." I demanded.

   "Well get fresh air. How about you go out and explore by yourself. Spend some time by yourself." She said smiling. "I will. Thanks for the idea." I smiled back. I got up and grabbed my phone and my wallet.

   I walked out of the hotel room and started walking down the hall. I wasn't paying attention because I was on my phone. I shut my phone off and put it in my pocket. I looked up.

   Calum was hugging someone in the corner. That someone was Gwen.

   I felt my face get hot and fill with jealousy. I don't know why I was so jealous. That backed up from the hug and got up. "Hey Luke we were-" I heard Calum say but I turned around and walked back to the hotel room. "Luke!' I heard Gwen call my name.

   I walked into the hotel room and threw my phone and wallet on the table. "Don't break your phone mate damn." Ash laughed. But then his laughed slowly toned down once he saw my face. "What's wrong Luke?" He asked looking worried. Then the hotel door open. I turned around and Calum and Gwen were standing by the door.

   "Why'd you walk away I didn't finish my sentence." Calum pouted. I rolled my eyes and walked into the other room. "Luke." I heard Gwen follow me. "Luke!" She yelled as I sat on the couch. "WHAT!" I shouted. "Can you stop ignoring me what the hell!" She yelled. Ignoring her? Ignoring her? I'm ignoring her because she's hugging my best friend. "I'll stop ignoring you once you stop getting all up on my friends." I spat. Her face got red and she made a fist. "Me? All up on your friends?" She said angry. "It was a damn hug! You call that being all up on your friends. Maybe you should look at yourself and see how you've been for the past two months all up on MY FRIEND!" She argued.

     *Gwen's P.O.V.*

   "It was a damn hug! You call that being all up on your friends. Maybe you should look at yourself and see how you've been for the past two months all up on MY FRIEND!" I argued. He has to be joking right now. "What the hell do you mean!" He stood up from the couch. "For two exact damn months you've been getting all closey closey with August. Been talking to her more, giving her attention more. For one month you haven't gave me a good morning kiss. It's just a 'good morning' or if I'm lucky enough for you to say good morning to me. But you know you have time to say good morning to your new best friend." I groaned.

   "Your jealous because me and August are getting close as friends. Your being pathetic!" He yelled. "Yea I'm the pathetic one after your the one mad about one damn hug!" I rolled my eyes throwing my hands in the air. "Whatever I'm done arguing with you." He said walking around. I turned around and yelled one last time, "Yea walk away to your new best friend. MIGHT AS WELL MAKE HER YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" I walked into the bathroom and slammed the door.

   "I'm pathetic, okay." I said to myself in the mirror. I sat down on the floor and just stared at the wall.

*10 minutes later*

   *Knock Knock*

   "Gwen open up." Elisabeth said. "No." I sighed. "Please." She begged. I sighed and unlocked the door and opened it.

   "Are you okay?" She asked me quickly hugging me. I nodded, "I'm fine no tears triggered yet so I'm fine."

   "He's been sitting outside for the past whole time you were in here. He won't talk to anyone. We think he's full of mixed emotions right now sad and mad." She sighed. "Oh." All I said. She was about to say something but I walked out in front of the balcony door.

   I turned to everyone, "please no one come outside." They all nodded. I turned my head back around and opened the balcony door. He didn't manage to pick up his head to look who walked outside. I sat in the chair next to him.

   "I'm sorry." He spoke. I was in shock he actually spoke first. "I'm sorry too." I said. Ugh why'd you say that Gwen? If you said oh he would probably explain now he's probably going to think not to explain.

   "I just got jealous of you and Calum because when Erin and I were dating and we like hated each other you and him were really close and it looked like you guys liked each other. I just don't want to lose you." He ran his fingers through his blonde hair. He actually explained though.

   "Luke that happens, I don't even know how many months ago. I'm sorry for lashing out on you about You and August. You just showed her attention and stuff I felt like we were the friends and you guys were dating." I said calmly.

   "I didn't mean to get close to her. I just want to be friends with her. I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I will give you more attention I promise." He said. He got up from his chair and crouched down in front of me.

   "Look at me Gwen." He demanded. I looked at him and we contacted Eyes. He moved in closer, our lips inches away. He looked down at my lips and then looked back up at my eyes. I looked down at his lips and then looked back at his eyes. We both moved in and our lips touch. The sparks flew. My stomach were full of butterflies. He's the only guy that can make me feel like this. I'm happy he's the only guy. We smiled through the kiss. He broke the kiss and we were just there looking at each other smiling.

   "I love you Gwen."

   "I love you too Luke."
