Not So Best Friends

Chapter 17

*Gwen's P.O.V.*

I woke up with a headache. I picked myself up and sat up. I saw that my mirror was cracked and my phone was laying on the floor. I remember everything that happened last night. I went to sit at my vanity and literally screamed when I saw all the smudged make up on my face. I cried that much? I took out five make up wipes and wiped all the make up off. I didn't put any make up on and I slowly picked up my phone. I pressed the home button and it still works... its just kind of crack. A lot.

I got all these calls and text messages. I got calls from everyone. I just opened them all, I didn't read any. I got up from my vanity and looked at the pictures in the frames of me and looking. I took them down and set them on my bed. I took all the pictures down of me and him and put them on my bed. Then I went down stairs to eat breakfast. I grabbed a bowl and milk and poured frosted flakes into the bowl. I sat down on the stool and started eating my cereal.

Before taking one spoon full of my cereal the doorbell rang. I groaned and hopped off the stool. I opened the door to see Ash, Cal, Mikey, Elisabeth, Jackie, August.... and Luke. I quickly closed the door before they could step in. I went to go sit back down and eat my cereal. I heard the door open and footsteps. I groaned once again. "Hello Gwenifer." Cal smirked standing on the other side of the counter. I sarcastically smiled and took another bite of my cereal. The rest of them came in. The last one to come in was Luke. Our eyes contacted but then I broke the connection by looking down at my spoon. "What do you guys want." I mumbled. "Are you okay?" Elisabeth asked. I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to say it in front of him because I just want him to feel bad. I'm not okay. I will not be okay for a while. I ran home crying, I didn't stop crying until I fell asleep. Yup I cried myself a sleep. Then before I went into the shower I threw my phone at my wall mirror and cracked that mirror and also my phone." I spoke. Showing them my cracked screen. "Then I cried when I went into the shower. I didn't take my make up half my make up off until I woke up. Then I took down all the pictures of Me and You." I continued looking at Luke. He looked down.

The girls came to hug me. Me and Luke made eye contact again and we didn't break it. It got silent. "We'll let you guys talk alone." Ashton whispered. Everyone walked out of the room and Luke got closer to the other side of the counter. "Will you let me explain?" He said sighing. I got up and put my bowl in the sink. "Nope." I said and ran upstairs. He ran after me and grabbed my wrist pulling me close to him. "Please." He said our face inches away.

I pulled away. "5 minutes."

We walked into my room and we sat on the bed.

"Last night. I was half drunk so I didn't know half the things that were happening. The last I remember someone was wearing a wing and an outfit that looks like what you were wearing. So I thought it was you and I thought u were the one kissing me. But she took the wig off while we were kissing and I didn't notice. My eyes were closed. The only reason why I kissed back is Bc I thought it was you. Then I didn't notice it wasn't you until after everything happened. I swear it didn't mean to happen. I was half drunk and I was paying attention. Pls Gwen. I love you." He explained.

I don't know how I feel. He still cheated on me with that slut. "He's not going to be your boyfriend for long" kept playing in my head while he was explaining. "Luke I just need time to think...." I paused. I got up from my bed and started hanging the pictures of me and Him back up.

I sat back down. "I don't know if I can trust you. Show me I can trust you again and we'll see where it goes." I said, "but for right now we're just best friends with complications." I continued. He nodded. We went back down stairs and hung with the group.

*Two weeks later*

Two weeks went by and me and Luke haven't talked that much. So much for getting back together I guess. But I still wasn't ready. Give me another week and he can then prove to me that I can trust him.

I was sitting on my couch binge watching 'Stranger Things' until my front door was slammed open. Ashton jumped in, then cal, Mikey, and then Luke. "We have an announcement!" Ashton shouted raises his arms up.

The girls just walked in like regular humans and stood by me. I looked at the confused and then I turned my head back to the boys to keep watching.

"What's the... Announcement." I said moving my hands. "WE ARE GOING ON..." Michael paused. "Drum roll pls." Luke said and pointed at Ashton. Ashton took out his drum sticks from his back pocket and did a quick drum roll. "ON TOUR! WITH ONE DIRECTION!" The boys shouted all together.

I jumped up and ran to them and hugged them. "AHH I'm so proud of you guys and happy for yous!!!" I yelled jumping in excitement. "Yea wait until you hear this." Jackie winked at me. Wait until I hear what. Oh lord I'm scared.

"Gwenifer... Would you take the opportunity to take off of school and go on tour with us." Calum said as all of the guys went on one knee and started holding my hand. I laughed.
"I'll think about it... Yes!" I said jumping.

"YAY GROUP TOURRRR!!" Michael yelled. We all got into a group hug. Luke pulled me out, "I'll make it up to you when we go on tour to give you more time to think." He said smiling. I hugged him and whispered, "thank you" in his ear and he nodded into my shoulder.

"I still love you." Luke whispered back.

"I still love you too." I
whispered back not breaking the hug.
