Chapter 12 - The date

Eric's PoV;
I pace up and down my living room,Biting my nails as I do so.I almost opened up to her and I don't even know her.Im pathetic.I just yelled at the only person who ever gave me a chance.

I am so stupid.Why could I not have kept me patience?I can't control myself around her.I don't know why or how,But she drives me crazy.

She must definitely think I'm bipolar.One minute I'm inviting her to sleep in my bed and the next I'm yelling at her to get out.I am just some cruel man who couldn't love if he tried.

I wouldn't be surprised if she never wants to talk to me again.She wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with me.That's why she always brings me to the private meet ups.

I'm not giving up though,I'm going to keep trying.I am going to stop at nothing to make it up to her.I have too.She is everything to me.I know it's very soon but she is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I check the clock and it's 5:15.I decide that I'm going to do something nice for Ro.
I head down to the pit and into the flower store.I go up to the counter and get 10 red roses.I pay my points and the time is 5:35.She must be at dinner so I decide I'll get dinner and give it to her after.I hope she likes them.

Rosanna's PoV;
At lunch I got complimented on my new tattoo and I told the gang about my date with Zach.
The girls took me shopping for a new outfit.

I got a skin tight blacks dress,black wedged sneakers,a dainty gold bracelet to go with the necklace my dad gave me,and a Gucci purse.

Mar does my makeup which consists of foundation,concealer,highlighter,contour,a smokey eye,mascara,winged eyeliner and to finish it off a dark red lip.I just straighten my hair and spritz it with a beach spray and I'm ready to go.

I check the time and it is 5:35.I decide to walk down to the chasm now.I start to walk down and That's when I think about it.Eric.How is he doing?I shouldn't have left him alone in that state of mind.I am stopped in my thoughts as someone comes up behind me and puts their hands over my eyes.

I react quickly by punching the figure.I hear a groan and then a voice say "hey Ro"
It's Zach!oh god.I just punched my date.Shit!
"Zach I'm so sorry I-"I start but he answers with "no I startled you so you had every right"
We just act like it didn't happen.

This is the first date I've been on.I mean I have been asked but never said yes.Im still a fridget and a virgin.Shocked?well don't be.Im not a slut.

We walk down the steps by the chasm and set out a blanket.He pulls out a picnic basket and lays it on the blanket.He opens the lid and pulls out sandwiches.
"We have ham and cheese or tomato and cheese."he says
"Ham and cheese please"I reply
"Okie dokey"and he hands me the sandwich.
He pulls out a bottle of wine and a bottle of vodka.He also pulls out a six pack of beer.

"Well your prepared"I say while laughing at how much booze he brought.
"Yeah I didn't know what you like so I got everything."

I can't even remember,What was I thinking about before Zach came?oh well.
Zach opens the booze once we are finished with the food.
"Watcha want"he asks.
"Beer please."
And he passes me an ice cold bottle of expensive beer.I twist the cap open and take a long sip.
Within about thirty minutes it's empty.I get passed another one and Zach takes another one too.

We are just talking about random things,Like how it was in amity,and his rank.He came 3rd in the same group as Eric.we finish the whole thing of beer and some of the wine and vodka,But not much.

I check my watch and it is 8:00pm.I decide Mabye it's time to go home.Since I'm kind of drunk and I'm tired and I have initiation part two tomorrow.

"Zach I think we should go home,It's getting late."
"Yeah and you have initiation tomorrow so you need some sleep."he replies.
As I stand up so does he.He walks up to me.
"This was fun,We should really do this again sometime"I say and he replies yeah we should.

He leans in and presses his lips against mine,I don't realise what's going on at first but I catch on and kiss back.When we pull away he says" I know this is soon,But will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will"I say
We say our goodbyes and part ways.I slip on some rose petals but I keep going.

Eric's PoV;
I got called out to a meeting and the time is now 8:00.I decide to look around for Ro and give her the flowers.I am walking through the cave by the chasm when I hear her amazing voice.I walk faster but then I hear another voice so I stay hidden.

It goes quiet so I peek around the corner and see something that makes me extremely sad and angry and jealous.

Zach,Who was in my year,Locked in a kiss with Ro.

I look at the flowers in my hand,Then I throw them at the wall,Leaving rose petals everywhere.

I walk back to my apartment.I'm so stupid.She can find a replacement for me like that.I read my book for a few hours when I get home and then I go to sleep,Dreaming about Ro and Zach all night.

So there is chapter 12!
