Chapter 30 - War Games

Rosa's PoV;
I walk out to the tracks with the rest of the initiates.

There is piles of bullet vests and guns.We each put on a vest and grab a gun and wait for the train to arrive.

Soon I see the flashing lights reflecting on the ground and I her the blaring horn.

The train comes into view and I wait for the first car.
When the first car passes I start to run.I soon start to sprint and I reach for the door on the train.

I pull myself up and into the car.I look around and see Four,Tris,Zeke and Eric,just standing there.

We all circle around them and Eric holds up a gun.
Josh laughs at it and Eric looks at him.He shoots Josh in the leg and he falls to the ground.
He looks around to all of us and says "Nero stun dart,simulates the pain of a real gunshot wound,only lasts a few seconds." He says.

"We will be doing capture the flag,two teams Zeke and I are captains." He says and looks at Zeke.
"You first" he says.

"Fine Ro" Zeke says with a smile on his face.Eric looks at him.
"Jeez taking his women that's low" Josh says.

"Uriah" Eric says.
"Lynn" Zeke says
"Marlene" Eric says.
"Josh" Zeke says and this goes on until everyone has a side.

They explain the game for all the transfers and Eric's team jump out to find a place to stash there flag.

There is 5 of us on the team.

Zeke looks to us.
"does anyone have any ideas for where to hide the flag? He asks and looks around.

"We could go to the Ferris wheel" Mary Anne suggests but tris shakes her head.

"We did that last year"she says and we all nod.
"Well we could go to the Hancock building?"Lynn suggest and that's too obvious so we decide against it.

"We could go to that broken down part of the outer city" I say and everyone looks at me.
"Not a bad idea sis" he says and I smile.

We jump out when we get to the edge of the city.We walk around and look for somewhere to hide the flag.

Everyone is fighting about where to hide it but something in the distance catches my eyes.

I walk around the corner without warning and what I find amazes me.

It's a big metal roller coaster.I walk over to it and I touch it.
The metal is really cold.I close my eyes and a flashback creeps into view

"Daddy daddy,can we ride this one!" I say to my father.
"Yes Honey we sure can!" He says as we walk over to the entrance to the roller coaster.

We sit down in a car of the coaster and it takes off.
It goes up the first ramp really slowly and I see the height.

"Daddy I'm scared" I say and he wraps his arm around me.
"It's ok I'm here" he says
"But dauntless don't get scared" I say,confused
"Dauntless can be scared,but it's the choice we make to face that thing that scares us." He says and we zoom down the first ramp.

We go through the first loop de loop and I laugh.

When the ride is over we get off.I look at my father.
"You did it baby girl" he says and I laugh
"I sure did daddy" I say and we walk back to the train.
