Chapter 33- Tested

Ro's PoV:
I wake up and look around. Everyone is still sleeping so I run into the kitchen. I open one of the cabinets. I grab the cereal and two bowls. I pour some into each one and grab the milk from the fridge. I pour it into the bowls. I hear a creak on the floorboards and turn around with the bowls in my hands.

"Morning" Eric says and takes a bowl from my hands. "Morning" I say and he smiles. We sit down and he looks at me while taking a spoonful of lucky charms. "Are you nervous? About the test?" He asks and I look at him. "Kind of" I say truthfully. "Well don't be, you will become a member no matter what" he reassures me. I nod and he laughs "your still nervous, aren't you?" And I nod.  We just sit down for about an hour talking about the test and how I will get a great score. This doesn't help me. No matter how many nice things are said about a test, it is still a possibility that you won't do well. Like if you have a math test. People tell you that you're good at math and will pass but there is still a chance that you will have a slip up or a mind blank and will fail. That's how I feel right now.

I have to go for the test soon since it is at 11:00 and it is now 10:30. I head into Eric's room and grab the clothes I brought with me. I put on my black jeans and a grey jumper with a slit on the elbow. I lace up a pair of black combats and go into his in suite. I look in the mirror and decide on no makeup. I just wash my face and tie my hair up in a messy bun. I brush my teeth and walk back into the living room.

"Come one it's time to go" Eric says standing at the door. Eric grabs my hips. "Eric what are you doing?" I say. He twists me around and puts me on his back. "Eric put me down!" I scream but I just hear him laugh. "Yeah...nah" he says running out the door and towards the waiting room. He lets me down and we are on our own. We must be early. I sit down and lie on Eric's shoulder.

"Awww aren't you to just so cute!" An annoying voice says from behind us. "Shut up Josh!" I say bored. "Josh leave them alone" Lynn says and I don't say anything. I pull my phone out of my pocket and go into text messages. I have a new one.

I put it away when I hear everyone running in. Lynn sits down beside me. "Look I'm sorry, I was just defending Josh." She says and I nod. "Say something" she says and I look at her. "I'm your friend and he has only been your boyfriend for a week!" "Yeah well you defended Eric against us!" "Well you didn't agree with us so yeah, but I never said anything about you two going out. " I remind her how good I dealt with them. "Well you aren't excepting it right now!!!" She almost shouts.
"Leave her alone!" Eric growls and I look at him. "I can fight my own battles" I say and look back at Lynn. "Look I don't have time for this right now, go fuck off!"I say and her and Josh walk away. Everyone else sits down and they obviously overheard the whole thing.

"Ok so we are going to head to the testing room. It's just up one more level" Zeke says as we start to walk up the stairs. We arrive at a room with one big testing chair in the centre. "Can all the leaders come over here! And all the trainers over there!" Max says pointing to the other side of the room with seats. The leaders have to sit with max at a table to see our fears.

Eric pulls me in for a hug and I wrap my shaky arms around his torso. "Your gonna do great, just believe in yourself" he whispers in my ear and I close the gap between us. We pull back and he pecks my lips once more before walking over to the other leaders. My brother hugs me and uri and walks over to the trainers.

Max stands and says "first up,Rosanna Pedrad." I walk over to the testing chair and Peter is there with a syringe. I sit in the seat and he smiles "I suppose you know the drill" he says "yep" I reply popping the 'p'. "Hey if you do good I'll, take you and your man out for a round of drinks!" He says and I laugh. "Yeah ok" I say and he holds the syringe to my neck. "Be brave Ro" he says as he injects me.
