Heroes of Hogwarts: Being Brave is Believing in Yourself

Chapter 13

At Hogwarts:
Leo gulped. "Um....do we really need to visit her tomorrow?" Leo asked the group of demigods in front of the fire.

They were in the common room, awhile after midnight. They were talking about the strange water controlling girl.

"Leo, you said Artemis told you that this girl is crucial to our quest and the survival of Greek mythology." Annabeth said and placed her hands on her hips.

"I did say that didn't I?" Leo asked and shrunk into the shadows.

"Guys, I have a crazy question. What if this girl is a demigod? And she controls water, and Percy can control water...." Haley said, trailing off.

Percy tilted his head. "Are you proposing I have a demigod sister?"

Haley nodded slowly.

"But she's evil," Percy complained.

Hazel shrugged. "The way Luna described her, she could be."

Frank scowled. "Could be what? Evil or Percy's sister?"

"Both," Hazel shot at him.

Leo glanced back and forth between them. Ever since their argument, they were mad at each other. It was unsettling. Out of all the demigod relationships, Frank and Hazel seemed least likely to fight. They were always a loving and peaceful couple.

Piper cleared her throat. "Right. Uh, moving on....what have we learned so far about the wizards that could pose a threat to the gods?"

Nico shrugged. "They have wicked cool spells."

"And have unicorns." Leo ventured.

"They're all......unique?" Millie asked uncertainly.

"Evil is definitely in their vocabulary. One of these girls named Taylor nearly bit off my head for asking where the bathroom was. And then they had Death Eaters. And Voldemort." Frank said.

Hazel glared at him. "I can't imagine how Taylor controlled herself."

Frank's jawline set. "I can't imagine why you would waste your time being rude,
Hazel, when you can go flirt with some other poor guy."

Hazel gasped. "How dare you....I-I trusted you...."

Leo looked down at his feet. They suddenly felt heavy. He sighed.

"Hazel, I'm ankle-deep in gold and diamonds." Leo said.

Frank snorted. "Way to keep yourself controlled."

Hazel narrowed her eyes. Two dozen rubies swirled off the floor and threw themselves at Frank. He disappeared, and Leo looked at the ground and saw a gecko.

Nico held up his hands. "Guys, please calm-"

Frank suddenly turned into a bear and roared.

Millie hit Frank-the-bear's arm. "What if someone heard you?! We can't afford to-"

Hazel yelled and released all her rage. Gold went flying. An emerald smacked Jason between the eyes. Haley screamed as a pointy ruby went into her arm. Piper yelled something, probably using charmspeak to stop Hazel, but it was useless over all the racket of the demigods. Annabeth accidentally pushed Nico over as she blindly thrusted her arms around. Millie screamed and got trampled by Frank. Leo fell to the ground, Frank's claw barely missing his head.

"ENOUGH!!" Percy yelled. All movement halted.

Frank turned back into a human. He glared one last time and turned into an owl. He disappeared out a window. Hazel breathed heavily and shadow traveled away.
