At Camp Jupiter:
"Leave. Me. ALONE!" Draco yelled.

"We belong together!" Hazel shrieked as she grabbed his shirt front and sobbed all over him.

Draco laughed cruelly. "I'm going to go INSANE! How can anyone stay this sane when they're around you?! You're slowly KILLING me! Go away! Leave me alone!"

Then the sirens sounded. Hazel screamed, frightened, and jumped into Draco's arms. On impulse, he hugged her and pat her head. That was what he had been doing for a looong time. He hadn't even heard of any news from anyone. He might as well be under house arrest.

Curious, Draco gently placed Hazel on a cot, pat her head once more, then lifted the flap of the tent.

He saw three figures a few hundred yards away, by New Rome-Leila, Harry, and Dakota. Draco glanced at Hazel, then ducked outside of the tent, his wand in his hand. The sirens continued to wail, and Draco prepared his wand, ready to fight.

He reached the trio. Harry looked breathless and confused. Leila looked determined, and Dakota had an expression of exhaustion on his face.

"What's going on?" Draco asked.

Harry shrugged. "Apparently CJ's under attack. Again."

Dakota sighed. "Demigods can't catch a break."

Leila glared at him. "Troops'll be here soon. We have to command them, with Reyna still gone."

Dakota started pacing. "The sirens were at a higher pitch frequency. That means there was a security breach at the camp's northeastern side. By the Berkeley Hills."

Leila frowned. "Troops should be heading there now. We have to go."

Draco was completely lost in the conversation. "What's going on? Can I go fight too? Who's the enemy?"

Harry shook his head. "You have to stay with Hazel. She's-"

"Forgotten who she was because of you! I've been cooped up for a long time, and I need to-"

Harry cut him off, raising his voice. "Well, I was cooped up for eleven years by the Dursleys! It's not my fault Hazel's not herself!"

Draco straightened to his full height, and looked down at Harry. "It is your fault! You sent the spell. It could've done worse damage! Who know's what could've happened!"

Harry laughed humorlessly. "I can't believe I'm being lectured on safety for a former Death Eater!"

Draco curled his fists. "Shut up! Shut UP!"

Harry and Draco were both yelling now, and Dakota and Leila were looking on with terror.

Then a low-pitched siren went off, and Draco and Harry stopped yelling.

"The south. Oakland Hills," Dakota said.

Draco growled. "We're wasting time! I'm going, whether or not you like it!"

Not knowing where he was going, Draco started walking towards the Field of Mars. Then another siren went off.

Leila grabbed his shoulder. "The Caldecott Tunnel. We're getting breaches on all sides! We need reinforcements!"

Dakota frowned. "Camp Half-Blood's here. That'll be enough!"

He strode off towards the Little Tiber by the Caldecott Tunnel. Draco followed.

"I can stay with Hazel and fight." He insisted.

Dakota glanced at him. "Nobody said you couldn't. Report who the enemy is by using your wand sending up sparks or something. Me and Leila are going to the Berkley Hills breach. Harry, you're heading towards the Oakland Hills breach." With that, Dakota changed direction. He called over his shoulder, "I'll be sending half of CHB for your convenience."

Draco nodded, then ran towards the infirmary tent. He dashed inside, and saw Hazel asleep on a cot. She was perfectly still. Draco smiled at her. Hazel seemed like his little sister now. She had grown on him.

He checked to make sure she was fully asleep one last time, then went outside the tent. He started heading towards the Caldecott Tunnel, just a little ways away. The sun was bright, yet a strange sort of drowsiness was overcoming Draco. He tried to shake it off, but he felt like he was going to fall asleep. Yawning, he wondered what he was doing here, when he should be napping on a nice comfy bed. Yes, that sounded nice...he could escape; no one would miss him...

Jolting awake, Draco found himself on the ground. How could I fall asleep?! he asked himself, yet found no answer. But, a figure was coming from the passage that led to the tunnel. He braced himself, grabbed his wand, and planted his feet firmly in the ground.

But he faltered when he saw who was limping towards him.

"Reyna?!" He asked in disbelief.

Reyna lunged forward and grasped Draco's shoulders. She shook him.

"They're coming," she gasped. "They tortured her, I told them where it was! Prepare yourself! They're coming, they're-"

Draco looked into her crazed eyes. "Who's coming? What's happening Reyna!"

Reyna looked trapped, and Draco noted the horrible state she was in. "Noah..." she gasped. "And Gina. They found us, we're not safe. The Amazons..."

She was having a panic melt-down. Draco tried to speak to her gently, but she continued to rave on.

Then he spotted the enemy.

They were a vast army, all humanoid. They had good weapons, helmets, and looked prepared for battle.

Reyna pointed at them. "There they are! Run!"

She shook and convulsed. Draco, thinking of no other solution, decided to send a Patronus.

"Expecto Patronum!" He yelled, and a white, regal, peacock flew from his wand tip. "Tell Leila and the others what has happened!" Draco whispered.

The peacock nodded, and disappeared. Draco looked towards New Rome, and saw part of Camp Half-Blood approaching. He wished they would hurry. He doubted he could hold off an army for long.

Grabbing Reyna's hand, he retreated. He shoved the praetor unceremoniously into the infirmary tent and ran towards the reinforcements.

"Go!" He commanded them. "There's an army; I don't know much about them, but they're big!"

A teenage boy in all black and with a skull ring on his finger stepped forward. Draco grinned. "Nico, where's Will?"

"With Harry." Nico said, offering a small smile back.

Draco surveyed the other demigods. It looked like the Hermes, Demeter, Hephaestus, and a bunch of other, smaller cabins were his to issue orders to.

"Let's go kick some bloody butt, then." Draco said, and readied his wand.
