"Is everything alright?" Aaron asks me concerned.

I try to cover my shaky voice and say:" Seems the girl at the counter liked you."

"What makes you think that?" Aaron wants to know.

"She wrote her number on the cup." I try to smile, but I can't.

"I hate those girls. They're really annoying. I never called one, I think it's just the wrong way you know?" he rolls his eyes.

"Sounds like you received more than one of those cups." I say sadly.

"Don't even talk about that... They're not worth your words, my lady." he says in a British accent and laughs.

Obviously Aaron noticed, I wasn't really happy.

"That was a joke. I feel miserable, when you don't laugh at my terrible jokes." he pouts.

"They're not always as terrible as this one was." I chuckle taking a sip of the coffee.

"So where are you actually driving to?" I ask.

"I thought we could just go to the beach." he says.

"Me at the beach? In this tshirt?!" I joke. He laughs and turns up the radio.

We start a carpool karaoke session, but we actually laugh more than we sing.

Soon we arrive at New Orleans Beach.

"I wonder why nobody is swimming." Aaron says looking out his window.

"If I must guess, I'd say it's a little too cold."  I giggle.

"Only because it's Febuary?" he frowns.

"Idiot." I laugh and hit his arm playfully.

We have a really nice time at the beach, just walking around and talking a bit.

I look at my phone and see it's already 6pm.

"It's 6 already.." I say and look up to him and he stops. "You hungry?" he asks.

I try to escape his gaze.

"I know a good restaurant near by. C'mon" he grins.

I follow him and we talk about random things.

A 5 minute walk later, we arrived at a small tavern, he holds the door open for me as I get in.

"Thanks, sir." I say with my best British accent and Aaron gets us seated on a table for two at a large window.

We pick something to eat and order.

"So why does your dad have to go to Philly?" Aaron asks me.

"I don't exactly know, but for work." I answer.

"And you didn't want to sleep at Chelseas?" he teases me.

"I thought I would disturb her and Parker." I try to justify.

"Yeah." he grins.

"But you said it'd be okay if I stay." I get nervous.

"It is. You're easy to tease Lisa." he laughs.

I roll my eyes and laugh with him.

We eat and he asks for the bill. After some very funny kind of discussion he pays and we get back to his car.

"Do you have to get any school stuff from your house?" he asks me, while he turns into the street we live in.

"No, I took it all." I say.

"Good." he simply replies and parks in front of his house. I get the suitcase and we go to his room.

"We can't stay up as long as yesterday, tomorrow is school, remember?" he talks.

"I don't want to go to school tomorrow.." I mumble.

"Your father will kill me, if you're not going." he chuckles.

I sit on the couch and turn on the tv.

"I'm definitely not going to school tomorrow." I joke.

"You're mean." he laughs and sits next to me.

We watch tv for about an hour before he turns it off.

"Why?" I complain.

"School. Better get your beauty sleep." he says and gets up.

The room is pitch black now, so I don't see where he's going.

"Here." he says and I feel something on my body.

He had given me a blanket.

I wait for him to return and sit next to me, but he doesn't.

"Aaron?" I say, turning my head to find him in the room.

"What?" he answers and I can see he's laying in his bed.

"Good night." I sigh, knowing he's going to sleep separated of me.

"Good night." he repeats and I can tell he's sleeping a few minutes later.

Unlike me. I toss and turn, but I can't find a comfortable position.

Maybe I just need a cushion. I get up and try to find my way through the room to Aarons bed. He has a separate one, which I try to get without waking him.

Suddenly  he mumbles a what I identify as a "Come here." I furrow my eyebrows and think about sleeping in his bed. I come to the conclusion that it's okay, we're only friends and yesterday we also slept together.

He moves his body to the side and I lay next to him. I feel his warmth and cuddle up closer to him. Softly he runs his fingers through my hair, which makes me relax, I hear his smooth heart beat bringing me to sleep.
