"Don't cry, baby. You didn't do anything wrong." I hear my voice crack several times.

Lisa looks up towards me.

I watch some tears spill out of her eyes and wipe them away as good as I can.

"I believe you Aaron." she says and hugs me.

I get her to put her legs around my waist and carry her towards the couch.

"I believe you." she mumbles into my hoodie.

We sit down on the couch and I run my fingers through her hair.

"What are you thinking about?" Lisa asks me, when she calmed down a bit.

"Nash and I have been friends for so long." I mumble.

"Sometimes friendships break."

"I just feel he has changed so much..." I wonder.

"You're right. But, baby we're gonna get through this." she assures.

Suddenly the words just leave my mouth, I don't think about them at all: "I love you."

Lisa looks suprised at me.

"I love you too." she replies, but we don't kiss like usual couples would do now. We only look into eachothers eyes. She puts her arms around my neck and we lean our foreheads together.

"We're going through this together, not mattering what happens, okay?" she asks looking straight into my eyes and I feel now the moment has come.

I kiss her softly, but she goes for more. Our tounges touch and all I feel now is happiness. In exact this moment, I don't care about Nash or Lisas father. I care about being with my girlfriend and loving her endlessly. We both refuse to pull away, so we just keep on enjoying the kiss.

"Babe my dad is coming in a few minutes." Lisa murmurs still kissing me.

"I don't care." I say, carrying on kissing as well.

"Let's go up to my room."

"Okay." I smile.

Without breaking the kiss I carry her up to her room and carefully lay her down on her bed and just lay beside her.

Now, we both stare at the ceiling.

"You wanna talk about it?" she asks after a while and I start to tell her from all the things I experienced with Nash and what we've gone through.

And while I talk, I notice several things make sense.

Why he barely passed the exams and why he was always out of money.

Lacey. She probably found out about it.

Lisa doesn't say anything, she just listens.

Suddenly there's a knock on Lisas door and before she answers it her father enters.

"Whoah." he exclaims.

I don't know why he acted so overwhelmed, we were just laying in bed, not even touching or looking at eachother.

Lisa sits up.

"What's up dad?" she says and I sit up too.

"There was actually a question I needed to ask you, but it might be interesting for your boyfriend as well."

Wait, what? How did he know?

"How do you know?" Lisa asks.

"I'm friends with the Carpenters. They told me so yeah.. About your birthday, I have to be aat work that day, we have an important trial on the Monday after so..." he talks.

"Okay, so maybe we could just go out, since we've finished our exams now, maybe to celebrate that as well.." I offer.

"Sure, go out. Have some fun. But no alcohol, drugs, sex or anything. But I don't think you're that kind of boy. I know your parents and they're nice so I trust you." her dad now talks to me and I see Lisa totally in trance in the corner of my eye.

"Thankyou." I smile at him and he leaves again.

"What was that!?" Lisa exclaims, looking at me now.

"Seems, your dad knows me kind of?"

"Crazy.."

"Yeah." we both laugh.
