--Lisas POV--

I can see Aaron is very nervous. He hasn't seen his ex-best friend for weeks now.

"Okay, we're here. If there's any problems there's a blue button in the room you can call me with." the nurse smiles at us and goes back to the front desk.

Aaron takes a deep breath and I take his hand.

He presses the door handle down and we enter the room.

Nash sits on his bed, with his phone in his hand.

When he sees us he immediately jumps up and looks at Aaron.

They just stare at eachother and I let go of Aarons hand.

"Thanks, bro." Nash says and they hug.

This is friendship.

Going through hard times, but still loving eachother in the end.

A few moments after, they break and Nash hugs me too.

I feel Aarons glance on me.

He's getting jealous.

I let go of Nash.

We talk for a while and everything seems like nothing ever happened.

Only the location is different.

And the fact, we can't go out and do whatever we want. Nash must stay here.

"Excuse me, but Mr. Grier has an appointment now, I'm afraid you have to go." the nurse steps in after a while.

"Yeah, sure." we all get up from our seats and hug goodbye.

"You've really missed him a lot" I utter when we go back to Aarons car.

He gets into the car without replying, signalizing he doesn't want to talk about it.

"So whatcha wanna eat?" he distracts again.

"Hm. I dunno." I shrug.

"Too bad you don't like sushi." he chuckles to himself.

"I could try once more." I suppose.

"You think so?"

"Why not?"

"Alright." he shrugs and starts driving.

I turn up the radio and place my head on Aarons shoulder.

"Babe we're here." he says, when I still keep my head where it is, although he already parked.

"Yeah, I know." I smile.

"Come on, I'm hungry." Aaron laughs at my cheesyness and unbuckles.

I sigh playfully and get out of the car.

As soon as we get to the entrance of the little sushi-bar, Aaron grabs me at my waist.

I never noticed he could be that dominant, but to be honest, I like it.

"Table for two?" the waitress asks us and Aaron nods.

"Thanks." I say when she hands us the menu.

Aaron and I order a plate, because I can't decide what to eat.

"Wasn't that bad." I say when we get in his car again.

"Agreed." Aaron laughs and starts to drive.

"So what are we up to now?" I ask.

"The beach." he answers and I nod.

It was really nice weather outside, so going to the beach is a real good idea.

After some time, Aaron pulls into the parking lot and I already take off my shoes.

The beach is full with families and small kids, so we need quite a while to find a silent spot to sit.

"Can I get you some ice cream or something to drink?" Aaron offers.

"Hm... Ice cream would be great actually." I smile, when he gets up.

"Which flavor?"

"Strawberry." I wink and he goes off.

I lay back down, I should've brought shorts, because my legs are burning.

"Hey." I hear someone say and sit up.

"Shawn." I utter, being scared kind of.

"Babe, I just wanted-"

I cut him off.

"There is no babe. And I'm not interested in you at all. Sorry, but you almost fucked up my relationship, so leave me alone!" I get up and go to where I hope I'd find Aaron.

"NO!" Shawn yells and grabs my wrist tight.

"Let go of me!" I try to get away, but he holds me.

"Can't you see? We're supposed to be together!"

"Aaron!" I scream, still trying to get out of his gasp.

"Sh!" he covers my mouth with his hand.

"Yo, let go of that girl right now." a tall lifeguard pulls Shawn away from me.

"What happened?" Aaron joggs up to me.

I just shake my head and go to the car.

"Babe." Aaron grabs my wrist, reminding me of Shawn and immediately I want to get away as quickly as possible.

"Leave me alone!" I yell, tears coming up to my eyes.

"Darling!" he lets go of me but hugs me a second after.

"Don't call me babe. Don't do anything Shawn did. Don't be like Shawn." I mumble quietly.

(a/n: Shawn is a great guy, and I'm a big fan, but you know, there always has to be a bad boy. I love Shawn)

"Come on. We'll go home."

"I think, I just... I wanna be alone now.." I murmur, when Aaron starts to drive.

"Okay, whatever you want. Just call if you need company or anything else." he smiles, making me feel a bit better.

"Thanks." I answer and look outside the window the rest of the ride.
