~Trigger Warning~
I stared at the cieling, focusing on consciousness.
Laying here, doing nothing, I realized how silent this room is. It's almost eerie. I'm assuming James is recording something for his Youtube channel, but youtubers are supposed to be loud and rambuncsious, like Mark, Jack, me... Tom.
Tom.
I miss him so much. I see him in everything. I see his name printed across the walls, I see his smile embedded into my brain. I wish I could see him in person. I wish I could hug him close to my body, and shower him in kisses.
He'd forgive me for what I did to attempt to escape, right? He wouldn't be mad?
My grumbling stomach interrupted my thoughts. The sun's light peeked around the curtains. I've sat here, doing nothing for at least six or seven hours.
I'd rather be doing nothing than be tortured. However, passing the time is hard, and I don't dare go to sleep. Who knows when James' will come back in here? I can't risk it.
Glancing down at my chest, I realized the burn on my chest was beginning to blister. I could feel the sticky blood on my arm begin to dry.
James' angry voice echoed through the house. I looked towards the door, waiting for him to burst in.
The wooden door swung open, just as I expected. James held a plate in his hands, his face flushed bright red.
I waited for him to sit next to me and force feed me the food, but he didn't. He sat in a chair in the corner of the room, and took bite after bite, not saying a word.
He must've noticed me staring.
"Let me guess, you're hungry?"
I nodded my head.
"Too bad. You lost the privilege to eat when you tried to escape," he hissed.
I swallowed the gathering saliva in my mouth, my throat bone dry.
"I've had a bad day, thanks for asking," James spat, taking another bite. "I have a question for you, Jordy."
"O-Okay," I croaked.
"Why does everyone care about you so much?" he mumbled. "They want me to join some kind of search party, want me to go on the Phil Defranco show for an interview, talk about our time on the Mianite series together..."
"I-I didn't realize people were looking for me," I lied.
"Mhmm, sure..." James muttered, discarding his plate, lifting out of his chair.
I watched him strip his shirt over his head, throwing it to the ground.
My arms ached, the muscles tired from being hung in the same position.
"At least you're awake... I was planning on killing Tom at the search party."
"You're joining the search?"
"Of course I am... People would get suspicious if I didn't," he mumbled, searching through one of his dresser drawers. "It's bad enough my videos aren't coming out as scheduled... The reception out here sucks and it's screwing everything up."
Videos.
"I had to join the hashtag on twitter today, too. Hashtag Save Jordan..." James mocked. "Pathetic."
Twitter.
How couldn't I have seen this before?
I make a video on his channel, and people will be over him like white on rice.
If I can get out of these ropes.
"Open," James demanded.
"What-" A silk tie was pushed into my mouth and tied behind my head.
The material pushed against my tounge, making me want to gag.
My voice came out as broken whimpers and muffled sobs. I shook my head violently from side to side, as James' unbuckled his belt in front of me.
"You'd understand if I'd use you for stress relief, right Jordy?"
