Aurora's POV
My head felt like it was splitting in half. This hangover was twice as bad as usual (probably due to the seven shots of evergreen).
This Saturday was going to be a day of relaxation, avoiding my mother, and ignoring questions like "are you hungover?"
That is, until my mother announced a family outing to the water park. Was this woman trying to kill me???
My brothers could not be more excited. Me? What do you think?
I hurried to throw on a bathing suit and simple white tank top and jean shorts over top.
Suddenly, my mom screamed up the stairs, amplifying my headache. "Did I mention the neighbors are coming too?"
Joy. Now everyone gets to see me like this.
I dug through drawers until I found my ray bans, slipping them on as I bounded down the stairs.

Once we were outside, I could see that John's family was piling in their car too. John had one little sister, the same age as Nick. She was adorable in her one piece and pigtails. She waved to me enthusiastically as she saw us outside, and I waved back with a smile.
The ride to the waterpark was less than an hour, but my brothers screaming along to the songs on the radio were not helping my current situation. I wondered if John was having the same problems. We were both a little drunk last night. Ok, maybe more than a little. I don't remember much, just a few flashes of jumping into a pool, no, being pushed into a pool? hopefully my head would clear by tonight and I can remember what happened. Once we arrived at the park, it was packed. Great, a lot of people means a lot of noise. My dad finally found a parking spot, and soon we were all out of the car. My mom called John's mom, and soon enough their family was walking towards us.
"Ready for an adventure?" John whispered in my ear as soon as he stood next to me. I shook my head and smiled, not knowing what the day had in store for me.

John's POV

My hangover wasn't too bad today thanks to my magical wolfy genes. I knew by looking at Aurora that she was suffering the same way. Did she even know that she is a wolf? I pushed the thought from my mind and tried to help her through today. We decided we would hang out together and try to avoid everything noisy.
On the edge of the pool, she began to dip her feet in the water and I sat next to her.
"Do you have a major hangover right now?" I asked her.
"Definitely," she agreed, massaging her temples.
"Are you down for water slides?"
"Why not?" She replied.
I couldn't help but notice when Aurora pulled off her tank top and shorts. She was literally perfect. My wolf couldn't help but to agree.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Definitely," I smirked, repeating her words.
Aurora laughed and started heading to the largest water slide in the park: the Monster. I had always been too scared to ride it when I was younger, but I wasn't going to tell her that now.
We climbed the stairs to the ride, and my stomach started hurting. I guess I was nervous.
