Chapter 5

[Biker's PoV]

I had decided that I had enough football for one day and sat out for Ray's video. Although I did feel bad considering she was my best friend, technically girlfriend, and now flatmate, football and sports in general aren't my cup of tea. I sit on the sidelines by all the bags and pull out my phone, seeing multiple notifications from Twitter and Instagram from fans liking my pictures or tweets. I look up briefly to see both Vik and Ethan coming my way and chatting by themselves. They stop right in from of me and I look up and smile.

"You looked like you needed some company." Vik said and sits down next to me.

"Yeah. That and both of us are feeling the same way as you are. Like, I like football but I can't play." Ethan says.

"I don't like it all that much and can't play at all." Vik says. I chuckled with them and sat awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

"So, both you and her game and moved in together right?" Ethan asks.

"Yeah. We met through our friend Bryan and she later introduced me to our friend Hannah and we're now a whole squad along with a few others." I told them. "Her and I were the first ones to meet irl and have always been close friends and fangirls and decided to move in together. Next thing we knew we ran into you guys."

"That's pretty cool. You guys were the ones in Ikea right?" Vik asks. "While I was in the trunk."

"Yep that was us. We were looking for furniture for our new flat and happened to run into you guys." I tell them. 

"You don't really seem like you're from here. Judging by your accent." Vik points out.

"Oh yeah. I'm from America and Ray's from Canada. Even though it's past a border, her and I live the closest to each other out of our squad. Well, from our old houses anyway." I explain. 

"That's pretty cool. Besides gaming, what else do you do?" Ethan asks.

"Not really much to be honest. I mean I game, I can edit, I love music." I say.

"Can you sing?" Vik asks quickly. I smile and nod. "Can you sing for us? I mean you don't have to. O-Only if you want to."

"I guess I can sing something but I don't know what." I say.

"Whatever you'd like." Ethan says. I start to sing "Wildfire" by Marianas Trench and stop after the first chorus. 

"You're really good." Vik says.

"Thanks. I mean, if you've been in choir since 5th grade like I have, you learn a lot." I tell them. 

"Wow. That's some dedication if I've seen any." Ethan says.

"It's really not much. I mean, I was the president of the treble choir my last year of high school and participated in all the choirs but really, it was not much since I was doing what I love. If you find a job where you're doing what you love, you never have to work a day in your life. That's what I always thought about." I say, looking off into space.

"How old are you again?" Vik asks.

"Yo, Vik's trying to get into them DMs." Ethan exclaims and laughs his famous laugh. I laugh along side him and smile. Vik only smiles and blushes ever so slightly.

"To answer your question Vik, I am 18." I tell him. I see silent and subtle face gestures between the two but choose to ignore it for now. 

"What kind of games do you play?" Vik asks hesitantly.

"Mainly Minecraft but I do play other games like Shell Shock Live, Terraria, Left 4 Dead, CoD, and a bunch of games really. But mainly Minecraft because Minecraft is number one." I tell them. I see Vik's smile widen and I smile back at him. The one I love is staring at me and our eyes are interlocked with each others.

"Hey guys, I know you're having a moment but keep it lowkey. It looks as though they're about to wrap things up." Ethan whispers. Vik and I go back to our normal distance apart since we had scooted a bit closer while our eyes were interlocked.

"Yeah. You're right. Maybe another time we can resume our conversation Vik." I say.

"I would really like that." Vik replies. We smile at each other and chuckle a bit.

"But wait, you're with Ray right?" Vik asks. I turn to look at Ray who's doing the outro and pressures JJ into kicking a ball and he kicks it out of the pitch. I sigh and look at Ray, then back at Vik.

"It's complicated and I can't explain here." I whisper to Vik. He nods and gives me a thumbs up, saying that he's ok with it. Out of the corner of my eye I see Ray walking over, smiling but also has a look of curiosity on her face. I ignore it as she comes over.

 "Hey Vik, Ethan, bae. We're all planning to go back to the Sidemen house and get some pizza. Come on, let's go." She says.

"Alright." I reply and stand up, following her as we head out. We came here with Cal and Harry and I guess we were leaving with them too. I don't mind it but I know Cal's still out for Ray which isn't good as well as Simon and Ray likes Simon more so I'm gonna have to figure out a way to get Ray and Simon together. Operation MiniRay is ago.
