**Smexy POV**

We'd arrived at the mansion, away from the chaos that had been wrought upon poor (y/n)'s home. I wasn't wrong to ask for help from Slendy at all, in fact since he had underestimated what would arrive at her home, it was his fault that he almost lost two members of the family.

Ben opened the door for me since I had no hands available to open it and because he'd made it there first and we entered the mansion.

"Slender! Jeff needs help!" I called out.

Kagekao and Eyeless Jack were mulling around in the living room and caught sight of us.

"Did you guys have fun? Looks like Jeff is all partied out," Kagekao asked.

"He's actually dying so if you could not that'd be great," Ben answered sarcastically.

"Kagekao, you're my proxy so you'll do as I ask. Go retrieve slenderman from wherever he is at because this is urgent," I demanded.

Kagekao nodded and ran off to find my brother.

"Please set me down," (y/n) said. I politely obliged and made sure she was standing before letting her go.

"This is the girl you were supposed to protect...?" Eyeless jack asked, staring down (y/n) who shivered uncomfortably.

"Yep, she's safe now. Apparently someone's got a big fat crush on her if they'd send as many forces as they could to her house," Ben answered.

"..." Eyeless Jack shrugged.

Kagekao ran back into the living room with Slender and Masky following close behind him.

"Jeff is dead?" Slenderman asked worriedly, quickly grabbing the teen out of my arms.

"You made it more dramatic then you needed it to be Kagekao... No he's not dead, he's still breathing but he fought pretty hard. You'd be proud of him," I answered calmly.

He 'looked' down at the teen he was holding and suddenly it seemed as though I'd sparked rage from somewhere in him. "This is all your fault! If you didn't persist about protecting that stupid human girl he would have been just fine!"

(Y/n) recoiled away from the both of us, looking somewhat hurt and sad.

"How dare you say that in front of her?! He's not dead, he's just hurt and he'll recover, it's not her fault! We probably did a good thing bringing her here!" I yelled.

"You brought the girl here?!" Slenderman exclaimed.

(Y/n) looked on the verge of tears. "H-hello..." she murmured.

Slenderman faced her and 'stared' her down for at least a few minutes, an awkward silence filling the house until there was frantic running from the staircase into the living room.

"(Y/n) is here! (Y/n) is here!" I heard a happy voice sing.

Splendorman and Trenderman appeared right next to (y/n), Splendorman giving her a hug and Trender probably judging her fashion sense.

"Offenderman, we need to talk. Outside. Now," Slendy hissed.

I would have rolled my eyes if I had any. "Whatever let's get this over with."

The both of us teleported outside, Slender still holding Jeff and me preparing for the argument we were about to have.

"She thinks it's her fault," Slenderman muttered, 'looking' down at Jeff again.

"You called her stupid, and now she thinks she's worthless. Why would you do that Slender? Why?" I questioned.

"She's not one of us! Jeff is, and seeing him hurt because of an outsider..."

"That's not her fault! If anything, Jeff didn't have to stay in that house and fight, he chose to do that."

"...You're right about that. I can't believe I snapped on you again, we can't keep fighting like this because... It's just going to further your belief that I hate you."

"For once I am actually right about something? I'd never thought I'd see the day that you'd admit that for once I am actually right! Why'd you get so soft all of a sudden? It's not a lie that you have favorites, and I am not one of them."

"...Offenderman. I know you think that, but that's not true. Sure, at first I was resentful of you. I was resentful of Splendor and Trender too, I didn't want to have to raise any of you."

"So it's true that you hate all of us."

"That's not what I'm saying, I said at first. Then I saw how cruel humans were to our kind, what they would do to get rid of us, and I remembered how scared I was when I was young and how much I just wanted someone to be there for me... And that's when I knew I'd do anything to keep you safe, it didn't matter what you did, how weird you were, what you said, I would always be there for you because that's what I'd wanted."

"You were always so harsh on us while we were growing up though, especially me and sometimes Trender."

"I was harsh because I wanted you all to be safe. You have been rebellious by going out to see humans and adopting their culture and even... mating with them. You never saw what happened to Mom and Dad so your behavior was typical. But I didn't want that to happen to you so when I saw you so close to humans... It infuriated me, but now I know that things have changed since then... It's not even the humans that I'm worried about now."

"What did happen to mom and dad? I mean, I never remember seeing them or anything, I just remember growing up with you."

"That's because shortly after went to see them after a long time... I got all of you and they told me to run away and keep everyone safe. They weren't as lucky as us, they weren't as strong... The humans killed them."

"And so because we were being so deprived of being near humans, we all flocked to them... Except for you because you knew... I had no idea all this time I'd thought you were hating us when really you were worried about us."

"Exactly, and that's why I blamed (y/n) right away for what happened to Jeff... A human who isn't a part of our family, an outsider who showed up in your life and I shunned her even though I said I wanted you to find someone. I've left a bad impression on the poor thing, her thoughts are riddled with self loathing and it's my fault."

"We're going to fix this brother. I'm starting to understand why things have been the way they've been. Let's go back in there and try to get you to bond with (y/n) a bit hmm?"

"I suppose I'll apologize about what I said and get Jeff some help, then I can show her around and try to make her feel welcome."

"That's a good idea. Let's go back inside."
