**Offender's POV**

God damn (y/n)! Why the hell was she acting more hostile than usual? Not to mention she found out my real name and who I was... I knew I could easily turn to another girl, a more willing girl... Would I do that? Would I just really abandon her and prove her point to be right, that she was only a toy?

No.

I wouldn't do that.

I won't do that.

I grimaced and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter, knowing this was one of the only ways to really calm my nerves. I had to talk to her about all of this. I had to.

Once I felt the first bit of nicotine kick in it was like I'd melted like butter. This was going to be an easy problem to fix, whatever she heard it was probably-

A thought hit me harder than it should have. Didn't she mention someone before? An Old man who told her about me in the first place... I took in a large huff and Scanned her mind. It was ridden with "it's what Jack, that old man told me". Who the fuck was Jack and how did he know me?

I almost got mad until I realized  was supposed to calm down again. Yep, calm.... Be calm...

It was certainly going to take awhile before that would be possible.

**Your POV**

Splendorman was not bad at all. What Jack had said was still on your mind, but him saying all of Offender's family was bad wasn't entirely true. Splendorman was a very nice guy, and within the first ten minutes of him being in your house he'd gotten you to laugh and even entertained you with some tricks he was eager to show you. You two had been in here for quite a few hours now, and you still were happy.

How could that be bad? He was so happy, and remembering what Offender had told you, he'd been alone for awhile. Wasn't his specialty making people happy?

"Hey (y/n), don't freak out but I accidentally got a little too happy and knocked over one of your vases... I'm so sorry!" Splendy exclaimed, dragging you out of your thoughts.

Were you so deep into thought that you didn't hear the vase break? You looked over at him to tell him everything was ok when you saw strange black and colorfully polka dotted tendrils with bells on the end extruding from his back.

"W-what are those?" You asked, pointing at them.

He glanced over and then realized what they were. "Oh god I hope these didn't scare you... When i get too happy these little guys kinda squirm out. I used to let kids swing on them once, but I'm not allowed to do that anymore," he explained, looking sadly at the floor.

"That sounds really sad. Don't worry about the vase," You answered. He had kids swinging on those things? That must have actually been fun... "Hey actually, do you think one of those could support my weight?"

He looked up and smiled. "Absolutely! We have to go find a strong tree branch though."

"I have lots of trees outside my house! Let's go find one!"

You both ran out the front door past a deep in thought Offenderman and started a game of tag while you looked for a tree, giggling as you chased after each other.

'That old man might have lied,' you thought. 'How could this be bad?'

**Offender's POV**

As I calmed down, 2 figures suddenly blasted past me. I recognized them as my brother and (Y/n). They looked like they were having fun together. I anxiously searched her mind and heard the thought I wanted to hear.

I knew it was about time to go talk to her.

I slowly approached them, watching them chase after each other in a silly child's game and then eventually disappearing from my line of sight.

Once I found them again, I saw Splendorman had set up a swing for (y/n) out of one of his tendrils and the both of them were laughing together. 'You know, that'd actually be something I might want do with her sometime. Her laugh is quite nice,' I thought.

"Hey you lovebirds," I called out once I was close enough.

"Oh my god Offender, your brother is so cool!" (y/n) exclaimed happily.

"I haven't had this much fun in forever, I wish Slendy would let me leave and do this kind of thing again," Splendy said.

"He's pretty rad alright. It's getting late though Splendor, we should get back before he gets upset," I said.

"Please bring me with you again! It was so much fun I'd love to go again," He pleaded.

"He's welcome here anytime he wants. And Offender, I'm so sorry I lashed out at you like that earlier. Rumors are stupid, we should meet up sometime again," (y/n) said.

"I'll see you in a few days then (y/n). Hear that Splendy? You can come here any day you want, I don't have to come with you," I said.

"Oh boy! That's delightful! I'll see you tomorrow (y/n)!" He chimed.

"Bye you two."

The both of us teleported home, content with the day even if it had started out badly, it ended well.
