same day ;)
we pulled up to a cute little shack thing and shawn took the keys out of his car.
"alrighty let's get to it." Shawn said hopping out of his and I did the same.
"what are we getting to?" I asked.
we walked up to the shack without shawn answering.
"hi, two mini golf clubs please." he said talking out his wallet.
i looked up at the guy in the little shack thing. he was probably a few years older than us.
handed shawn two clubs, looked at me, then back to Shawn.
"what color balls would you like?" the guy asked and I stifled a laugh. ik I'm a 12 year old boy I laugh whenever anyone says balls.
"black." shawn answered and my laughter wasn't stifled anymore. it was far from stifled.
the man chuckled and handed shawn and black golf ball.
"and for you?" the man asked me.
"wait lemme guess." shawn said before I could answer.
he stared into my eyes as if studying my soul.
"purple." he said finally.
"blue." I said back.
"what kind of blue?" the guy asked.
"wait lemme guess." shawn said.
"royal blue." he said finally making up his mind.
"give me the lightest blue you have." I laughed.
as the guy was getting my ball shawn walked a little bit away to look at the course.
the guy handed me the ball and smiled "like your eyes."
I smiled back at him and he asked me a question.
"is that your boyfriend?"I turned around and looked at shawn.
"no he's not my boyfriend." I answered and shawn turned around to look at us.
"well in that case, I'm tony, " the guy handed me a napkin, "and that's my number."
shawn walked over and looked at me, "ready?"
he had a weird look on his face and I knew it was because he had heard my conversation with tony.
"what's that?" Shawn asked looking at the napkin in my hand.
"Tony's number." I smiled.
"who's tony?"
I turned around and pointed to the guy.
"that's tony."tony waved and I smiled waving back.
"and people say I'm a player." Shawn joked and I laughed turning back to face the course.
