same night sucka

all signs of negative feelings left my body. i was filled with complete happiness and love.

"i love you too." i answered staring deep into his eyes.

i watched as his gaze moved to my lips, and then back to my eyes. he then slowly licked his lips. i knew we were going to kiss, but these moments before were so special. they felt long at the time, like all i wanted was to kiss him. but truly, these moments were magic. he leaned in and i followed, joining our lips together when we were close enough.

the kiss was sweet, but so passionate. every movement was filled with love. it was the best kiss i had ever had.

when we pulled apart we lied down together on the blanket. he put his arm around me and i snuggled up to his chest. we looked up at the stars together, admiring the beauty.

"sing me a song." i said in a gentle voice.

"what song?" shawn asked sweetly.

"a song that reminds you of me." i told him and he nodded.

for a few moments all i heard was the crashing of waves, but shawns voice soon filled my ears.

"you are sooo beautiful to me." he sang and i began to giggle softly.

as he continued, i could hear the smile through his words, "you are so beautiful," he paused to look at me, "to me."

he stopped and we smiled up at the stars.

"you're such a dork." i smiled shaking my head.

4 hours later  💓💓

i woke later to the sound of a seagull squawking annoyingly.

i picked up my phone to check the time.  2 a.m.

shawn and i had stayed up until 1:30 probably, having a real deep heart to heart but i guess we fell asleep in the last 30 minutes.

"shit." i whispered putting down my phone.

i shook shawn to wake him, "hey, dude. wake up."

"hm?" shawn said opening his eyes.

"we feel asleep." i told him and he pulled me back into his body.

"it's ok." he said groggily.

"you wanna sleep here?" i asked and he nodded.

i shook my head with a smile and lied back down. i picked up my phone and texted my mom telling her that i fell asleep watching a movie at ariana's and would be home in he morning. she answered immediately saying that she hadn't slept because she was worried. i felt bad, but when i looked back over at shawn i couldn't bear to leave him. i apologized to my mom and said goodnight before i put my phone down, and on silent.

i lied down with my back to shawn and closed my eyes. i felt shawn rap his arms around me from behind and pull me close.

for probably 30 minutes i lied there in silence, being too stuck in my own thoughts to fall asleep.

"shawn?" i whispered.

"yeah?" he answered without a movement.

"i can't sleep." i told him.

"neither can i." he replied.

i didn't answer and just shifted my body, trying to get in a position i could fall asleep in.

"we don't need to sleep." shawn stated.

"what?" i asked him, wanting him to further explain.

"we can stay awake and just hang out." shawn said.

i turned over to face him, "ok."

"we should do something wild." he said with a smile.

i couldn't help but smile back at him, "like what?"

"i don't know," he said thinking for a moment, "lets go swimming."

"swimming?" i asked.

"yeah, you know, wiggling your limbs while in a huge mass of water." he said.

i chuckled, "i know what swimming is."

"then what're we waiting for?" shawn asked looking into my eyes.

he sat up and i propped my head up on my hand while i rested my elbow on the towel.

"we don't have bathing suits." i protested.

"who needs bathing suits?" he asked looking down at me.

"i don't wanna get my clothes all wet." i replied.

"who needs clothes?" shawn asked pulling off his shirt.

i stared at him.

"lets go skinny dipping." shawn stated.
