school this week was average, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't fun. i was happier in general though, knowing i had shawn.

right now, i was walking in the hallway, on my way to last period. i couldn't wait for the school day to be over, partly because my day wasn't too great and partly because it was friday.

"hey cutie." i heard as a pair of hands gripped my waist and turned me around.

shawn wrapped his arms around me.
"you aren't busy tonight right?"

i shook my head no and he smiled, "good. you and me tonight. "

i smiled at him, "where are we going?"

"you'll see." he said kissing my forehead and then releasing his grip, "i'll pick you up at 7!"

he walked away from me and i smiled. i smiled a real, genuine, whole hearted smile and it felt good. i was really happy.

i walked with pep in my step all the way to last period. it was a good class because the whole time i was giggling and smiling and thinking about what shawn and i were gonna do tonight.

when the bell rang after that class i straight up ran to my locker to get my books. i wanted to make sure i was there when shawn got there.

i stood at my locker just fiddling with the things inside because i had finished getting my books.

shawn walked up and opened his locker.

"there he is." i smiled closing my locker and turning to him.

"there she is." he said giving me a smile as he exchanged his books.

when he finished he looked at me in the eyes and placed his hand on my hips. he leaned in to kiss me but i stopped him. i looked over at the freshman algebra teacher who was standing by us and then back to shawn.

"kiss me tonight." i whispered and then walked away.

later :/

"hey." i smiled as i got in the passenger seat of shawn's car. it was 7 o'clock and he was here to pick me up for our date.

"hey." he said looking over at me. he leaned over and kissed me softly.

"are you gonna tell me where we're going now?" i asked buckling my seatbelt.

"no." shawn smiled keeping his eyes on the road.

we drove for probably 15 minutes before shawn pulled over on the side of the road.

"here." he said handing me one of the blue bandanas that we wore to that football game.

i looked at him and waited for him to continue explaining.

"use it as a blindfold. this is a surprise." shawn said and i rolled my eyes jokingly.

i cover my eyes with the bandanna and then tied it around my head. we drove for no longer than another minute until the car stopped again. we parked and shawn helped me out of the car.
