As Vicky told her story about how she disarmed and knocked out the gunman, the whole-time Derek was looking for signs of her lying or leaving bits out but she was being completely honest with him, that meant that someone was trying to hurt her or scare her and it made him angry.

"I'm going into the garage, wanna come?" Vicky asked, knocking Derek out of his thoughts.

He looked at the teen and nodded "I thought you said you were tired though?" He replied, as he followed her through her house.

"Sleep is for injured and dead, as I am neither, I can't be bothered" Vicky replied, walking up to her garage door, she turned to look at Derek and gave him her signature smirk "This is my favourite room in the whole house" Vicky's heart shot up as she told Derek this. She flicked on the light switch to the twin garage and walked in with Derek right behind her.

Derek walked into the room and stared at the different vehicles around him, he pointed to the blue sports car "So" He said, catching Vicky's attention "what's this one?" He asked

Vicky walked over to the car and smiled as she slid her hand down the side of the car. "This piece of magical engineering is a Nissan Skyline R-34" She said "1999 model. Imported from Japan" She said with pride, "this is a dream come true for me, I had to beg my mum to let me have one for years, and she finally gave in" She stood next to Derek and looked at him "I built her from scratch practically, she was in a car crash. Now she's- "Vicky stopped to think of the right word.

"Stunning" Derek finished, he bent down and looked inside the car, at the sleek interior. "Manual" He said "5 speed?" He questioned, not being able to look at the inside properly.

Vicky grabbed the keys and unlocked the car, she opened the door to allow Derek to look in. "6 actually" She said with a laugh.

"What's the top speed?" Derek asked, from inside the car

"Stock or how fast have I got it?" Vicky replied, leaning against the side of the garage, next to her tool cabinet.

Derek came out of the car and stood in front of Vicky "both" He said with a smirk.

"Well, technically the car should only go 120 miles an hour" She saw Derek look a little confused "sorry, umm, about 200 kilometres an hour. I'm still in British conversions" She laughed

"How fast have you got it?" Derek smiled at the blonde

"Nearly 190 miles an hour, so about 300 kilometres an hour" Vicky smirked

Derek returned the smirk and turned around to look at the other vehicles in the garage, he pointed over to the motorbike and looked at Vicky. She smiled "That is a Honda R1, fastest road legal bike ever"

"And this?" Derek asked, as he pointed at a car shell.

"Part of a Dodge Charger, an old 1970's one though. The whole Fast and Furious thing made me want to have one" Vicky smiled at the car "I haven't gotten around to putting her back yet"

Derek chuckled, and Vicky looked at him "what?"

"This was a huge surprise" He replied "I wouldn't have thought that you would be interested in cars, I'd have thought you would be interested in fashion and teenage boys like your cousin"

"Can't a girl love both?" Vicky pouted, she walked over to where the engine is supposed to be in the Charger and picked up the head gasket, she threw it at Derek who caught it without looking. He turned around and faked being upset.

"Are you trying to hurt me on purpose?" Derek asked, walking up to Vicky, and stood in front of her.

"I'm just seeing how fast you are" She smiled, "do you know anyone with parts for a Dodge Charger?"

"Do I look like I know anyone with Dodge Charger parts?" Derek asked Vicky

"I don't know" Vicky shrugged her shoulders, looking at the dark-haired werewolf "You look like you should know someone with a Dodge Charger"

"Why?"

"Cause you have an awesome American muscle car" She put one hand outwards "so, you should know other people with awesome American muscle cars" She put the other hand outwards and smirked.

"I know someone" Derek looked at Vicky who made a 'who?' face "You" He lent towards Vicky and their lips connected, sending sparks into Vicky's stomach.

They parted when they heard someone in the house. "Derek?" Isaac shouted, Derek growled quietly and shouted to his beta that they were down in the garage.

Once Isaac had entered the room Vicky crossed her arms and smirked "Do any of you mind that you are breaking and entering my house?" She asked, as she led them into the kitchen.

"No" They both replied.

She sighed and went to make herself a drink when she saw an image of a medium height blond boy stood down an alleyway, reading to pounce on some beggar with his bright purple eyes. Vicky dropped the mug she was holding and collapsed onto the floor.
