"What's that?" Cora asked, walking closer to where Derek and Vicky stood.

"Trouble" Derek replied, Ennis walked in and smirked at the werewolf.

"Ready for a rematch?"

Derek had to hold Cora back as she went to run towards Ennis but she got free and was attacked by him. Kali walked in and smirked at Derek, who walked in front of Vicky defensively. "Oh, protecting the indigo, how sweet" she said, Derek ran towards her, fangs bared.

Vicky watched on and then ran to Cora's aid when she was thrown up against the concrete pillar and stayed on the floor. "Cora?" She asked, before Ennis grabbed her by the throat and shoved her up against the concrete pillar, causing stars to form in her vision. Ennis grabbed Cora and with his other hand, shoved her against the wall, by her throat.

Kali got Derek pinned to the floor, grabbed a metal pipe, and stabbed the alpha through the chest. Both Cora and Vicky attempted to break free of Ennis' hold but failed. Deucalion walked in, tapping his stick against the floor until he reached where Derek was on the floor. "Everybody done?" He asked, "cause, just listening to that was exhausting. So, lets chat" He looked in Derek's direction. "Sorry about this Derek. I asked Kali to be gentle, but"

"This is me being gentle" She replied, her voice full of venom, she turned the pole and Derek groaned in pain. Both Vicky and Cora attempted to escape again.

Derek looked at Deucalion, "let" he said, blooding coming from his mouth, "let them go"

Deucalion nodded at Ennis who reluctantly released the girls, they stood their ground, shoulder to shoulder.

"What do you want?" Derek asked, his voice full of pain, "you want to kill me?"

Deucalion tutted, "you really think that I'm that boring? Don't throw me in with sociopaths like your uncle. I'm a man with far more vision that simple murder. In fact," He paused, and stood up, "I'm here to show you how much vision a blind man can have"

Kali twisted the pipe and both girls moved forward, "you're killing him!" Cora shouted.

"Not yet little sister" Kali replied, "but I could" She twisted the pipe and Derek coughed out blood. "Who knows if its five minutes or five hours before it's too late to take this thing out?" She looked in the direction of her leader, "but just to be on the safe side, Duke, you might want to get to the point"

"Now you see the problem with being in an alpha pack. Everyone wants to make decisions. Me?" He paused, "I'm more about discovering new talents. Like you"

"Not interested" Derek replied

"But you haven't even heard my pitch" Deucalion replied

"You want me to" Derek paused, blood coming out of his mouth, "kill my own pack"

"No" Deucalion replied, "I want you to kill one of them. Do that, and I won't have to ask you to kill the others. You'll do it on your own. I did it. Ennis did. Kali did." He looked at Kali, "tell him what it's like Kali, to kill one of your own"

Kali pretended to think, "mmmm, liberating" she replied

"Listen to me Derek. Do you really want to stay beholden to a couple of maladjusted teenagers bound to become a liability? And believe me, they will become a liability" He glanced to the side, "in fact, I have a feeling one of them is getting himself into trouble, right now"

Vicky glanced at the alpha behind her, and at the other alpha's in the room. Thinking of a way to escape. She was distracted by Derek grunting in pain, blood still pouring out of his mouth.
