Vicky caught sight of her friends in the cafeteria and sat down next to Allison, she didn't greet anyone on the table, just grabbed her phone and typed furiously. Scott and Stiles scrambled into the hall and rushed over to the table a few seconds later, both watching Vicky shocked.

"What happened?" Isaac asked, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing" Vicky replied quietly, she didn't look up from her phone.

"Well that's a lie" Lydia replied, she looked at Scott and Stiles, "what happened?"

"Well, uh, Vicky just had a huge argument with Mrs Mores" Scott told the group

"What?" The group all said, "what over?" Allison asked, looking at Vicky who still had her head down looking at her phone.

"Vicky was a couple of minutes late to class, so Mores demanded she stayed at the end, and uh, basically said Vicky didn't care about her classes or education, especially after her previous history she should take better interest in her education now" Scott glanced at Vicky

"That's crazy! You're getting A's in most of your classes, the lowest is a B" Lydia replied, "and bringing up your history, that isn't fair"

"Don't worry Vicky told her straight!" Stiles replied, his eyes still slightly wider than normal, "hey Vick, you sure you're okay?"

"Yep"

"So why was Mores so angry?" Isaac asked, "and why is Vick so angry?"

"I'm n- "Vicky was interrupted by both Scott and Isaac saying "your heartbeat"

"Vicky used some, some badly chosen words to compliment her disagreement"

"They were well chosen thank you very much" Vicky looked up at the table, her eyes slightly purple tinted. She caught Scott's eye who immediately understood why she had hung her head. "Plus, no one knows my previous school history, I may not have had perfect attendance thanks to my father but I was always top of the school" she grabbed a pear off Lydia's plate and was about to take a bite from it when she saw the teen she threatened from earlier wander past, her eyes followed him until he was out the room. She quickly stood up, "back in a min"

"Vicky!" they called as she ran out the room and followed the ginger teen to the fields where she grabbed him again.

"We need to stop bumping into each other" she fake smiled, "you said you saw Nathan at a park, right?"

The boy nodded, to scared to speak, "okay Ginge, what park?"

"The one by the old bank"

"Oh Ginge, you're a druggie aren't you!" Vicky punched the teens shoulder harshly, she turned him to look at her, looking at him in the eye" kick that drug habit, it'll get you killed. Don't let anyone go to the park tonight"

"I don't want to do drugs anymore" The ginger teen recited, "no one should go to the park tonight, I'd better tell them"

"Tell them there's a police sting operation" she replied, her eyes flashed a darker purple than normal. "Okay, off you go" she patted the teens back and pushed him away after she caught sight of Isaac and Scott watching her.

"You saw her eyes, right?" Isaac asked, he glanced at Scott who nodded

"Vicky" Scott shouted as he walked up to her, "why were you talking to him?" he nodded at the teen who stumbled back inside.

"oh, me and ginge, we go way back" she looked slightly over Scott's shoulder, before begrudgingly looking at him in the eye. "you don't believe me?"

"What's his real name?"

"Ginge" Vicky pulled a face, "look, he knew who was spreading that rumour about me, I just wanted to know who he had heard it off"

"And what was that trick?" Isaac asked, he scrunched his nose in the cold wind

"What trick?" Vicky asked

"The one where your eyes shifted, and he didn't even flinch"

"That guys a stoner, he wouldn't notice anything" Vicky defended herself

"Why did your eyes shift then?" Scott asked, he crossed his arms, "come on Vick, let us help"

"Adding anyone else into this mess is going to cause more casualties, just leave it be McCall" Vicky walked away from the teens, back inside.
