"What's happened?" Vicky asked, she pulled up to the junction and stopped, "what are you doing here?"
"The race was a perfect opportunity to get you away from us" Isaac said, slightly out of breath. "The others are fine, but Nathan and your aunt are going to try and kill you"
Vicky's hands tightened on the steering wheel, she looked over at the curly haired teen; "how do you know?"
"I heard them talking just now"
"So that means they're close" Vicky said straightening up, "is your seatbelt on?" she asked, Isaac quickly clipped it in, once he had done so Vicky turned to him, "are you okay with fast driving?"
"As long as we don't die, I don't mind"
"Please" Vicky laughed, "I'm the safest driver you know" She pulled out of the junction and noticed a black van pulling out on the junction ahead. Isaac lifted his finger to point the van out; "I can see it" Vicky said as she pulled on the handbrake, spinning the car around to face the opposite direction before driving off.
"I'm going to call Scott" Isaac announced, Vicky nodded in reply as she focused on the tailgating van. "Scott, we kinda need your help" Isaac began as the rear windscreen shattered, showering the pair in glass as the bullet flew through the car and embedded itself into the front windscreen. "Actually, we really need your help" Isaac amended as Vicky swore loudly.
Vicky glanced in the rear-view mirror before pulling the handbrake again, the tyres squealed as the car spun around to face the van. As the car came to a halt, Vicky revved. "What are you doing?" Isaac shouted, "you'll kill us!"
"Trust me" Vicky replied, she hit the gas pedal, and the car roared as it raced toward the van. As they got closer Isaac lifted his hands up, his hand gripping the holder. Vicky refused to change path until they were inches away the van swerved and came careered onto the verge.
Vicky stopped the car and unbuckled her seatbelt, as she grabbed the door handle, Isaac grabbed her arm, "you are not going out there"
"Watch me" she replied as she opened the car door, shrugging out of Isaacs grip. She began to walk towards the van as Lilly walked out, holding a pistol in both hands. She aimed it at Vicky and fired two bullets, which clattered to the floor a mere two feet from the girl, who smirked as she bent down to pick up the casing; "shame that didn't work" she said loudly. "Why are you back?"
"To finish what I started" Lily shouted, she threw the pistol into the van and retrieved a crossbow, which she fired at Vicky. Just before the arrow hit the blonde, Scott's hand reached out and grabbed the projectile, he snapped it in half and growled at the woman.
"Oh look" Nathan leered as he walked from behind the van, "there's the werewolf protection...again" he walked over to Lilly, "I was wondering how long it would take for you to show up"
Vicky felt Isaac behind her, while Scott was beside her. "Twins are on their way" Scott whispered to Vicky, she nodded and took a step forward.
"I guess it's your lucky day Nathan. Guess who's coming to party with us? Ethan and Aiden!" she smirked, "weren't they part of your old pack? The one you ditched?"
Nathans smile faltered before grinning manically. "More werewolves to kill then isn't it?" He glanced at Lilly, "isn't that what your family is meant to do?"
"Kill the supernatural" Lilly said, "even ones that pretend to be family"
Vicky lurched forward before Scott grabbed her and held her back, "Scott let me go" she growled, her eyes flashed purple as she struggled against his restraint.
