Derek and Peter stood next to each other, arms crossed, while Vicky sat on the table in between them; swinging her legs. Ethan and Lydia walked forward, "we know about the lunar eclipse" Ethan said after a short pause, "so don't think Kali's gonna sit around waiting for it to level the playing field. She's coming, and my brother is coming with her"

Peter sighed "good enough for me" he turned to his nephew "Derek?"

Derek looked back at Peter murderously, "you want me to run?"

"No" the older Hale replied sarcastically, "I want you to stay and get slaughtered by an alpha with a psychotic foot fetish" he paused, "of course I want you to run. Sprint, gallop, leap your way the hell out of this town!"

Cora nodded in agreement, "if you want to fight and die for something, that's fine with me; bt do it for something meaningful"

Derek was coming to terms with the idea. He looked around the room, and his eyes landed on the blonde sat on the table. "I don't want to lose someone else"

"How do you know I'm gonna lose?" Derek asked.

"We don't" Peter said, "but I'll bet she has an idea. Don't you Lydia?"

Everyone looked at the Martin girl who seemed flustered at the sudden attention. "I don't know anything" she replied.

"But you feel something, don't you?" Peter asked

Derek looked back at Lydia, "what do you feel?" he asked, leaning forward.

"I feel like...I'm standing in a graveyard" Lydia replied, a shiver going down her spine, she clearly looked upset.

Sensing someone was about to quiz her cousin Vicky stood up and walked over to Lydia, putting her hand behind her back. "You got your answer"

Derek and Cora packed a suitcase each, Peter helped Cora get them down the stairs while Derek pulled Vicky to the side, "please don't do anything stupid while I'm gone"

Vicky looked at Derek and smirked, "define stupid"

"Putting yourself or other people in danger that's not needed" Derek replied, he looked at Peter who had returned, "promise me"

"You need to go" Vicky said, she kissed him on the cheek and pushed him towards Peter and the door. She walked over to Lydia and Ethan, "I will be in the other room, if anything starts I'll be straight in"

There was a bang on the door, Vicky heard it being pulled open slowly and two people walk through to the main room. Vicky heard Kali's voice, "where is he?" she asked slowly, anger radiating from her voice.

"I think he said he was heading out to do some shopping, run a few errands, the usual" Lydia cleared her throat, "werewolf afternoon"

"Who do you think you're talking to?" Kali asked.

"Someone who needs to watch who theyre talking to" Vicky said, she walked into the room, Kali looked surprised before a smirk lit up her face.

"Oh really?" she growled, they both walked forward when the twins split them apart. Ethan held Vicky by her shoulders while Aiden walked ahead of Kali.

"Did someone take their little assignment too seriously?" Kali jeered.

"She is not the problem" Aiden roared.

"But her cousin is!" Kali shouted back, "maybe the problem is where your loyalties lie"

"Your problem is you don't understand loyalty Kali" Vicky said, Ethan pulled her back a little.

Lydia looked at Ethan, "oh god, is this about to get really violent?"

"Probably" Ethan replied, he pulled the Martin girls back.

Vicky was about to launch at Kali when a figure broke through the roof and landed on the floor, on all fours. Ethan pulled Lydia to the side, shielding her from the falling glass.

"So" Jennifer said, looking around the room, "who wants to go first?"

Kali paused before running at Jennifer, she got within reach when she was blown back onto the floor. Aiden transformed and circled Jennifer before attacking, but he was also knocked onto the floor. To help his brother Ethan ran up to his twin and they combined bodies to form the twin alpha, they roared at Jennifer before she grabbed them and broke them apart. Sending them flying in opposite directions.

Vicky ran over to Lydia and made sure she didn't move into the battleground.

Kali got up and cartwheeled over to Jennifer, they stared at each other, circling. "It takes power" Jennifer said, while staring at the alpha, "power like this" she lifted her hands up, which raised the broken glass on the floor, it surrounded the dark druid.

Vicky pulled Lydia behind her.

"I" Kali started, she wasn't sure what to say, "I should've...ripped your head off" Kali shouted.

Jennifer screamed and pointed her hands at Kali, sending the glass shards into the alpha, killing her instantly. Jennifer glanced at the Martin girls, "what does the line coach say? The bigger they are"

Jennifer disappeared from view, reappearing behind the teens, Vicky put her arm out to cover Lydia as an instinct; she growled at the woman. "I don't need you yet" she said before throwing Vicky across the room.

"What do you want from me?" Lydia asked quietly.

"I want you to do what you do best, Lydia" Jennifer said, "I want you to scream"
