The blonde walked into the back room of the vets, Deaton turned around and smiled at her, "Vicky" he said, "nice to see you again, how's your arm?".

Vicky smiled, "not painful anymore, but still a little stiff" she walked opposite Deaton and lowered her tone, "have you found anything I can use to stop Nathan?"

"Yes actually" Deaton replied, he delved into some cupboards, "but it depends on how strong he is"

Scott and Stiles walked in as Deaton placed a number of items on the table, they smiled at Vicky, a gesture that she returned. "We were wondering where you had gotten to" Stiles said.

"She came to find out what we can do to stop Nathan" Deaton informed the two, who stepped closer. Deaton pointed to a container, "this is gold residue powder" he informed them, "this might stop him from wondering off"

Vicky picked up the container and was about to dip her finger in it when Scott grabbed her wrist, she looked at him before dipping her finger in it. "This won't stop him, pure gold only blinded me for moments back at the hospital" Vicky said.

Deaton glanced at Vicky who put the container back on the table before speaking again, he pointed to a wooden handled knife, with small inscriptions carved on it. "This was used in Europe in the 1600's on witches, it has the old pagan symbols which have no effect on witches but can cease indigo's using their powers for as long as the knife is in contact with the bloodstream"

"So as long as their stabbed with it, they're human?" Vicky asked

"Essentially, yes" Deaton replied.

"That doesn't sound confident" Stiles questioned.

"Deaton doesn't know how strong Nathan is" she looked at the vet for conformation, which she received, "so some things might not work on him because he's too strong" she looked at Deaton, "Nathan is one of the strongest I have ever encountered; trust me, this might work if he lost a fight, but I doubt anything would slow him down enough to get an advantage"

Deaton sighed, "then I have no more for now; stay out of trouble" he said looking at the teens, "it's got a lot more dangerous"

"How can you work out how strong an Indigo is?" Vicky asked.

"I can take a blood sample" Deaton replied, "run a few tests, it won't be completely accurate, but I can give you a general idea"

"Take my blood" Vicky said quietly, "with a needle"

"Yes" the vet replied, "will that be a problem?"

"She's afraid of needles" Scott told Deaton.

"And I have good reason to be" the blonde replied, she sighed heavily, "go on"
