The Martin cousins climbed out of the Mustang, "you're not gonna go AWOL on me again, are you?" Vicky laughed as they walked to the entrance of the school, and stood next to Allison, who was watching the strawberry blonde carefully. "Lyds?" she asked, when she didn't respond straight away, "you good?"
"Yeah, just, when you said you drove fast" Lydia replied, "I didn't know you actually drove fast" she turned to look at Vicky, "mom said you stopped after racing in London?"
Vicky smirked, but didn't meet her cousin's eye, "oh, that little incident. Yeah, I stopped racing in London for a bit afterwards, I knew my mother couldn't keep secrets"
Allison caught Vicky's eye before the blonde turned away, she focused on the other Martin again, "so, you really don't remember anything?"
"They call it a fugue state" Lydia replied, she flicked her hair, "which is basically a way of saying we have no idea why you can't remember running through the woods naked for two days" she paused, "but personally I don't care. I lost nine pounds"
They turned to face the main hallway of the school and Lydia's breathing quickened. Allison turned around to her friend and smiled, "are you ready for this?" she asked.
Lydia smiled back and flicked her hair over her shoulder again. "Please, its not like my aunt is a serial killer" she said before walking through the entrance.
"Oh, how little you know" Vicky muttered to herself before giving Allison a sympathetic look when she finally understood what Lydia had said. They followed the strawberry blonde Martin into the school where everyone had stood still, to stare at them. Both girls moved closer to Lydia, in some sort of protective manner.
"Maybe it's the nine pounds?" Allison said
"Oh, definitely the nine pounds" Vicky agreed, she watched Lydia stalk off down the corridor into her classroom. The two girls shared a look before walking to Biology together.

Vicky huffed and dropped her book on the desk, "I'm bored" she announced. "Do you want to go see the lacrosse practice?"
Allison didn't look up from her studying, "we have only been here ten minutes"
"What are you even revising for anyway?"
"We have a history test last period" Allison replied, "I was just trying to remember dates of things"
"We have a test?" Lydia questioned, she was applying pink nail varnish to her hands and looked immensely bored.
"Ali, just take the book out and revise while we watch the team play. Don't you wanna watch Scotty?" Vicky wiggled her eyebrows. She pulled the book out of her best friends' hands, "come on" she said before walking up to the librarian.
Vicky pulled the girls down towards the bleachers, they sat in the middle watching the lacrosse team warm up. Vicky had grabbed a spare stick and was playing with it.
The Coach had put Scott into goal, and the practice sessions were going normal until Scott tackled a player to the ground. Vicky looked over at Allison, who still had her head in the history book "does he understand what a goalie does?" she got a shrug in reply.
During the practice, Scott kept ditching the goal and tackling people to the ground, the guy playing defense was stood there with his stick on the floor. "McCall. Usually, the goalie stays somewhere within the vicinity of the actual goal" Coach shouted at the teen.
This remark drew Allison out of her studying, and she watched as Scott tackled another player. "Oh, Jackson isn't practicing shooting" Vicky pointed out.
