New Girl

Katherine's pov

I woke up the next morning feeling like I got hit with a truck. I groaned and sat up, but my head went crazy and spun. I felt like I was gonna get sick, I got up and ran to my bathroom a few feet away.  The contents from my stomach spilled into my toilet and I let out a few coughs. I then felt calums hand rub my back and I looked at him feeling like I was dying.

"You didn't even drink that much how're you getting sick?" Calum chuckled while still rubbing my back. I shrugged my shoulders not feeling like talking because I felt so gross.
When I thought I was done throwing up I got up and went back to my bed with calum right behind me. I grabbed my water bottle and chugged it till it was empty.

"Do you want something to eat, even if it's just a piece of toast? You have to get something in your system" 

I nodded, "toast would be fine, want me to go downstairs with you?"

"If you can make it down stairs" calum joked. I stood up putting on pajama shorts under my big t shirt and We both headed downstairs and my mom was at work, she barely works on Sunday's but her boss called her in. We went into the kitchen to make toast and Andrew was sitting watching pokemon on the tv.

"Oh this is my favorite episode!!" Calum said looking at the big tv while I was putting toast into the toaster. I grabbed jelly and butter, I didn't know what calum wanted.

The toast popped up and I put butter on mine, "calum what do you want on yours?"

I took a bite of mine and he answered butter and jelly. As I did so I watched him and my brother watch pokemon and drool over the character animal things. I made him toast and brought it to him.

Tomorrow was the first day of school and I was more nervous for tomorrow then I've ever been for any thing else. I didn't know my way around and I didn't know anything about schools in Australia, what if they are different.

"Calum how does the whole locker and schedule thing work?"

"Well when you get to school you just pick a locker, so bring a lock, we have lockers next to each other I don't care if you want it or not. Ill take you in the morning so be ready by 7:20. And schedules, you look on this big wall to find your home room and go there when the bell rings and they will hand out everyone's schedules and you'll know where to go from there, it's sounds more complicated then it is"

It didn't sound so complicated but knowing me I'd mess it up somehow. School starts at 8 so I have to get up at 6:15 so I can get ready and make sure I have everything and be downstairs for when calum arrives.

I began to zone out thinking about school, what to wear and how to do my hair and makeup. I usually wouldn't care back home but it's my first day of school with people I know nothing about and I feel the need to make a good first impression. The boy I saw at the party might be there, he looked around my age. He was so beautiful and I want to meet him. I don't know why he was staring, maybe because of my hair, that a usually thing that people stare at. I don't know but I would be his friend if he let me.

"Hello, Katherine??"

"My bad yes, I was thinking"

"I have to go to Michaels house, do u want to come and meet him? Or do you have to stay with Andrew?"

I really wanted to meet him and I knew my mom was gonna be home soon so I'd leave Andrew alone for an hour or two. My head ache is Still there but my toast stayed down so I might as well go out and get some fresh air.

"Let me change?"

I jogged upstairs and threw a grey jumper on and put my converse on. That would have to do, there's no point of dressing up.
